So what happened?

Jr just brought Lebron a plane ticket, packed his bag and slapped his ass out of Cleveland.
I use to hate Lebron. Now i cant help but appreciate his greatness

Lebron should leave Cleveland on general principle after JR's brainfart potentially costing them that game. What a disaster.

That's a top bonehead play of all time. I don't understand.

Also on Lue, why the hell was he not screaming for a TO as soon as jr started sprinting away from the basket?

that's not a skill that sam presti has, that's the relative ineptitude of okc sports reporting. also, any of the people with access who start to demonstrate their own opinions end up leaving.

I'm gonna have to disagree with you about that—it's been the case at least part of the time with national stuff as well. Remember the draft where Woj tweeted almost every pick and OKC was one of the few he didn't?

i'm not suggesting sam presti isn't tight lipped, but any competent stable of local reporters would be able to get information out. they're all just too insecure in their positions / susceptible to the org. ruining their careers. why else do we not get a story about reggie jackson windmill dunking while 'injured' until months later? come on, now. okc reporters are the creamiest of cream puffs.

Because of how tightly access is controlled. The organization doesn't tolerate leaks, so if you tank your relationship you won't have anything.

This. From the saga of trying to get my press pass and talking to some of the local guys, I'm pretty sure the reason most won't talk out of school is cause they won't have access any more. A lot of stuff gets said on background.

Not to get too political here but the whole thing reminds me of the news around "leaking" in D.C. right now. They say that the more a staff is troubled by or doesn't like the guy they're working for the more they leak. And voila, Trump's staff leaks like a sailboat made out of swiss cheese.

Maybe Presti is the opposite, maybe the staff just really likes him/believes in him, so they don't feel like violating his trust in that way.

Well that Finals was an atrocity against enjoyable sports viewing. God damn this Warriors team.

It is more likely that LeBron stays in Cleveland and JR goes. The places LeBron can go are limited. Philly is really the only option. I guess they could make Boston work. LeBron to Boston for Hayward would be the ultimate trolling of Kyrie. I'll give SA a slim chance just because LeBron said it takes BBIQ to beat GS. That also means OKC has no chance.

congratulations to kevin durant. two rings and two finals mvp's. james harden almost got there also. jeff green sucked in the finals but still. former thunder players and especially the broingtons availing themselves nicely around the league. even perk had time to force himself into the warriors locker room and act like a nuisance.

What happened last couple of days to increase the odds of PG13/Lebron going to LA?

Nah, it's for NBA related topics.
