IN before Oladipo scores 40 and Sabonis 20 and everyboy says ''OMG the PG13 trade was so bad for OKC'' ;)

Kidding, it's a must win obviously (if we still want to end up with a high seed)

Expect a bounce back win in a big way. Not concerned at 1-2. Team still has too much talent and chemistry just needs time to develop. OKC over Indy 105-95. Go OKC!

Game 4 of the season is not a "must win" if the team wants a high seed. The team needs to show signs of development and improvement while integrating the new players. I actually think loosing to the T-Wolves was good in a way. Had they won on Melos 3 at the end I think the team could have easily overlooked some of their issues particularly on the offensive end. Winning can cover up problems, but when you start facing off against elite teams, those problems get exposed big time. I just want to see improvement game to game, if that happens, the wins will come, the team has too much talent.

When you want to finish 2nd or 3rd in the West u can't lose at home against the weakest opponent (1 or 2 exceptions for sure)

But yeah u are right that the most important is to show development and improvement

Pacers have played the last 3 without Myles Turner. But Domantis playing center and inside has filled the role well averaging 13.5 ppg and 9.5 rpg, 2.5 apg. Shooting only within 17 feet Sabonis has hit 21 of 30 shots 70% thru 4 games. Oladipo is averaging 23.8 ppg, Darren Collison is doing a good job at the point averaging 15 ppg and 10 apg.

Too bad Myles is hurt and won't play the 1st game vs the Thunder was hoping both teams would be at full strength.

You might have read it already, but it is still a nice thing to read :)

Both teams improved in a different kind of way so it's time to move on and wish all Thunder players a great season :)

Pacers coach Nate McMillan believes that George’s current situation in Oklahoma City suits his personality. Westbrook is the Thunder’s unquestioned emotional and floor leader. When McMillan coached George last season, the uncertainty about his future was the elephant in the room. George was the face of the franchise, and was expected to shoulder more responsibility as a leader. But when George was a younger player with the Pacers, veterans like David West, Danny Granger, George Hill, and Roy Hibbert were team leaders. When those players moved on, George was left behind. McMillan sensed George was never completely comfortable trying to assert himself as a vocal leader.

“Things changed for him,” said McMillan after a recent practice. “Some guys just want to play. Having a C (for captain) on their chest doesn’t mean anything to them. They just want to play.

“You have to be yourself, and not try to be something that you’re not. I think Paul just wanted to play. The leadership, and the captain, and all of that? Sometimes people put you in that position because of your status. I think his thing was, ‘You take care of you, and I take care of me. Get yourself ready to play.’ Going to OKC, he’s back in that role of – I play. The leader is going to be Westbrook. I can go here and play.”

Knowing how great his stats still were when playing uncomfy, I say Durant watch out when he is playing comfy :D

Happy to be able to contribute :)

And trully hoping it is Westbrooks turn now to win his ring.

For Thunder fans it is most important they will like Paul George in may and june, so if I have to swoop in every now and then to erase some doubts in regular season, I will try do that the best way I can. :)

Oladipo is attempting like 8 free throws per game. His draw rate is up 20% from last season. Unsustainable or did getting his body right this off-season help him turn that corner?

He would go from below average to elite in just a couple of months. Unsustainable is my pick.

But I'm ready to watch him get 16 FTA today.

Pacers have been really fun so far this season. This is going to be a good game.

And of course Vic and Domas are going to ball out.

He did last year too before he got parked at the 3 point line. Kid is gonna be really good and wouldn't be shocked if he feasts on the bench bigs tonight.
