I hate this team more every game. When they get crushed by LAL Thursday I'm going to be pissed at how they continue to show glimpses of being really good followed by being terrible. If they crush LAL, after losing to them a few days ago, we'll all be temped to think they are getting it together. The complete lack of consistency is infuriating.

Oh my god I can't believe you guys ACTUALLY passed the ball to Steven Adams in the post more than twice in a game. I was shocked - back to back and maybe even three passes in a row to him in the post? What is this madness? God forbid you give him any more touches in the post the rest of the reason as Melo needs his inefficient long twos.

Great win though, always love to see you take down GS(and anyone not the Wolves to be honest). If only the team could play like they do against top competition against the weaker team.

As beastly as Westbrook was, I thought Paul George was the best player for you guys easily. He turned the entire game around on both offense and defense, especially defensively. Warriors kill teams with their ball movement, but George snuffed it out almost every single time.

And on offense there was a point late in the 3rd and early 4th quarter where it felt the Warriors were ready to go on their big run, force a turnover, and score 10 points in a row. It's really the Warriors' vaunted defense that allows them to go on these big runs, and they're arguably the best in the league when they put their mind into it, but there's nothing you can do when a player is doing this:

Can’t wait to see them downplay this loss. For an “NBA” podcast these guys are some serious GSW homers

I still remember them whining about the Warriors not 'being themselves' when we had them at 3-1 in 2016.

This team is so frustrating it's unbelievable. Where was the defensive effort the last 4 games before this one? Where were these rotations? Unreal.

Start patterson
“If you're getting stops and you're making threes and the other team's not scoring, that's when you're going to see a huge point difference there,” coach Billy Donovan said.

A cynic might say 'So this is what we look like defensively without Roberson, but also without our two worst defenders on the floor'.

I woke up at 1 am to pee and checked the score. I was so excited I stayed up and watched almost three quarters of the game.

Just finished the game:
Refs were consistently horrible for both sides. Russ tripped over his own foot and no one touched him and we got two free throws, lol.

George and Russ were the best two players on the floor. If Adams hadn’t been in foul trouble, he may have been the third. I can’t help but wonder if the two headed monster of George and Russ would have been better off than adding Melo. Regardless, we’ve got to find a way to get Melo going again.

Give Jerami Grant credit for tonight. Russ wasn’t robes, but he was better on defense. Patterson needs more minutes.

Confession, I don't care if this team loses to the shorthanded Wizards and even the Lakers if they routinely beat Golden State and Houston.

Getting inside Draymonds head is a real strategy. He’s just a headcase. This game didn’t feel as emotional but probably just because the warrior crowd was quiet.

It's going to be interesting to see what happens with that guy's career if he ever ends up in a situation where he's on a bad team. He seems like a ticking time bomb. I'm not saying he's not a good player, he is obviously, but when things aren't going his way he appears to really act out in unhelpful ways.

I felt like today's defensive scheme was effective and can be a blueprint going forward.

KD might be a killer (33 points, ofc), but locking the rest of the warriors down and let him do his thing might be the way to go.

PG13 did a great job of fighting through screens to stay attached to Klay, and the team as a whole did a great job of running GSW off the 3pt line and forcing them inside. Even Abrines played pretty good defence on Curry all things considered.

They have no answer for Adams, nothing. They tried like 3 different defenders and he still scored or drew fouls 4 times in a row during the late 3rd.

This shows that we don't really need Melo. I thought Patterson was great, did a good job of switching as well as protecting the rim.

Use Melo as Kanter+, start Pat, trade for another 2 way wing and we can do this guys. The blueprint is there if we execute consistently.

Congrats, guys. This is such a bipolar team, it could lose and look horrible against anyone and then spank the Warriors like this.

Why can't George play with this drive and energy more often, something should hypnotize him and convince him every game is on national TV, he's such a monster in these games. Westbrook actually trying on defense in more games would be nice too. Adams keeping his calm despite all the BS calls against him, avoiding the 5th foul and delivering timely buckets when Westbrook cooled off and George was on the bench was huge.

Kudos to Grant, Patterson, Huestis and Abrines, they did very well.

Also credit to Donovan, his defensive scheme worked excellently.
