It's nice to have a real leader who can settle troops in a close game unlike George who throws the ball away.

“If you're getting stops and you're making threes and the other team's not scoring, that's when you're going to see a huge point difference there,” coach Billy Donovan said.

Well, we nearly blew a 20-point halftime lead to a terrible Grizzlies team, and gave up 114 points to them in the process, but at least it's a win.
Said in a thread about which point guards would make OKC better if they replaced Westbrook:

George and Russ really do work well together. Josh Huestis is now shooting 23 % from the line.

Guys were understandably gassed but played well overall. Hate to see a big lead given up but that's the nature of tired legs. Been saying it for a minute now but Dakari should play more. Just 3 minutes tonight but did really well outside of a foul on Evans. George makes really really dumb passes sometimes. There was the crucial one towards the end of the game and the one where he didn't wait for Russ to get back inbounds.

Dakari looks like he could be a capable backup center to me.

Checking Adams out early in the 3rd & having him sit for a long time (after playing him too many minutes last night) almost cost us. Did find it hilarious though that when Dakari came in we immediately threw it to him in the post since we never throw it to Adams down there.

Ferg looked good. I’ll gladly take that.

This team will need to come out of All-Star break swinging. Everyone outside of GS and Houston are within striking distance of one another. There can be no let down games against lottery teams.

I can’t watch anymore Josh Huestis. Sit him on the bench.

Patterson-Adams +47 NetRtG in 10 minutes. +13 NetRtG in 171 minutes on the season.

Needs. More. Minutes.

Good news is 3rd seed is within striking distance. If Houston keeps the 1 seed, I am not against the 4 seed. We just need home court for at least one series. I am confident this group will get it done in the post season after it turns up its defense and offense goes wild.I really feel this is the year for this team to get it done.

 Yea so many teams are just head and shoulders better than them....well 2 at least.....who they have played great against all year. OKC is capable of winning any night they step onto the floor.

They're also capable of losing to anyone as they've shown.

Post season is 0-0. The key is finishing with the right seed to give us the best chance.

Read on Twitter

Donovan is such an asshat. The one guy who's playing cleanup crew on both sides of the floor.

True....so why would you assume they would only win 8 though?

Schedule is relatively easy coming up, so yes, we will likely struggle lol.

I think they realize there's no more time to mess around, things are so tight with the pels/LAC/jazz not falling off. Hopefully the buyout market comes thru and they can get a nice run going as they enter the playoffs.
