The big three experiment is coming to a disappointing end; there's a reason teams like Boston and Miami were so successful but not OKC. Those teams made a commitment to winning and put their egos aside.

those teams also had much better players in their big 3.

They had much better rosters in general.

even if anthony replicated last year he'd be by far the worst player of those groups. kevin garnett was still elite the year the celtics won their title, probably as impactful as westbrook this year. heat lebron or wade v. this year westbrook? no brainer.

the mistake was calling these bozos a big 3 to begin with. carmelo is a role player, and george is a decent player, but not on either lebron or wade's or pierce or garnett's level.

I didn’t hear it personally but apparently on the radio today Royce said he didn’t think dononvans job is in jeopardy.

I may actively cheer to lose games next year if George is gone and Donovan is still here. I'm on the fence about presti being fired, but this would push that over the top as well.

If we go back to a team where russ does everything I wouldn’t be surprised to see him start struggling with injuries.

Possibly but I mean the kind of injuries that lead to missing extended time. That’s why in some ways we will be in full rebuild mode regardless of if we trade russ. It just depends on his health if we get early or late lotto picks.

Yep. I tihnk that's a lot of what you're seeing on court now too. He looks like a KT tape add. And the preseason procedure. And the cupping.

New York is hungry for a star to pair with pork chop, we should send Melo for a s&t kanter + hardaway.

If we don't fire Donovan and go for Budenholzer I'm going to be annoyed. Everything we need in a coach.

At least Russ went down swinging while everyone else disappeared. He would've been perfectly justified to pull a Kobe and just stop playing in the second half.

Budenholzer or Messina are my favorite guys that could be available. I wouldn't mind David Fizdale or Jerry Stackhouse either.

I wanted Messina when Donovan was hired, but those guys are already on the interview circuit and likely have a job before we even start looking. And that's pretending we're actually going to make a change.
