I didn’t get the pleasure of watching this. I see Russ had 7 assists and 9 turnovers. That kind of stuff just can’t happen if we are going to win games. I can handle off shooting nights, especially if the quality of the shots is good.

George not shooting well from 3 is starting to be a worrisome trend in big games. If he isn't hitting from 3, they might as well not even play the game out against a good team.

Sigh ...Corey Brewer as -20 +/- in a 10 point game. Ugh...

Its funny. I don't worry about them beating bad teams anymore, but I have given up hope that they can beat the top 4 teams on a nightly basis. Those games feel like auto-losses.

Donovan is a sight to behold isn't he?

I said before the game that Ferg better not see any minutes. He gets subbed in early.... Dammit

Game would gave been a much larger blowout without hack a capella. Unfortunately for us, their coach doesn't leave poor free throw shooters out there to "show confidence in his guy".

This team has murdered this board. There just isn’t much to discuss. We sucks and everyone knows it. Well, almost everyone.

The dudes just don't look like they're all that cohesive anymore. Melo screaming "where the F#ck was the help" was sort of a low point of the season for me.

Couldn't agree more. You don't talk to Steven Adams like that unless you are a **** defensive stud yourself. OKC needs to do some serious soul-searching and fast if we want to even make the playoffs. The good news is that we have 3 lotto teams coming up & the Spurs who aren't looking so good and don't match up well with us. Hopefully we can go on a 4 game winning streak.

Hopefully, Portland loses the next few games as they are playing GSW, MIA, CLE over the next 3 games.

Russ was off tonight, but it’s not like there was a ton of help. I’m more upset at Russ defensive help tonight than turnovers. It also doesn’t help at all that George has been really in a massive funk.

Is there any way to see OKC's record or more importantly Paul George's FG% when Russ takes more than 20 shots a game versus less than 20?

You can't win games like this. All the Rockets did on defense was switch and we couldn't do **** in the half court. 60+ games into the season and there is still no system whatsoever. For that alone Donovan should get fired no matter what. Flat out embarassing.

Then we turn the ball over 19 times. I don't even think half of those were somewhat forced. No flow, no cohesiveness. They don't look like a unit. Everybody just stands around.

Defensively, we didn't find an answer for a simple PnR all night long. Melo was getting abused and we still switched it every **** time. Meanwhile, Patterson plays 10 minutes.

Corey Brewer. 24 minutes, 20 USG%. 6 3PA (he had 7, they waived one off) for a 18 % career 3pt shooter. You can't make this up. Of course they spot him up.
Btw: -14, 130 DRtG in 8 a point loss vs Portland. -20, 136 DRtG in a 10 point loss vs Houston. 102 DRtG with Brewer on the bench vs the Blazers, 104 DRtG with Brewer on the bench vs the Rockets. But who cares, right?

I just want the Donovan era to be over. It sucks the joy out of watching basketball.

Apart from some offensive struggles, especially that many turnovers were bad, what, in my opinion, ultimately cost us this game is that Russell does not play defense. If I were his teammate I would dread playing with him on defense, he puts everyone in so many bad positions it is unbelievable. I hope someday he realises this and starts playing defense(just staying with and in front of his man, showing some effort).

Corey Brewer is such a typical Thunder pickup. Lots of athleticism, can't shoot and has terrible basketball IQ. Of course Donovan and Presti couldn't pass on him.

I honestly don't get how Donovan still has a job. His team's offense is still terribly basic and frankly primitive most of the time. There is barely any off the ball movement and barely any plays which use more than one pass. The defense has been in shambles since Roberson went down. He's on course to lead a team with Westbrook and Paul George to miss the playoffs.
