Good win, i felt many times the game was closer than it should have been, but thats just nitpicking.
But overall (outside of Adams injury) it was an enjoyable watch.

I really hope Adams is ok, without him we can't compete in the playoffs.


The bench was great, good shooting and clear roles.
Man of the game for me was Patterson, very good defense and good shooting.

I was watching college.

Just saw the box score, but if you're not voting for Nick I never want to speak with you again.

If anyone votes for anyone other than Nick for player of the game, shame on you.

So at what point do we say Corey Brewer saved the Thunder season

I gave it to Westbrook and Grant. Both had exceptional games. Grant hit a huge 3. Westbrook only took 1 three and I cannot for the life of me explain why he attempted it, but all around, good hustle and efficient play by Westbrook. I thought our team shared the ball and did a great job of creating better shots out of okay shots which is ironically a very Spursian thing to do. Our bench really stepped up and did a nice job.

Every win matters

The bench came through big time. Collison with some awesome minutes. Crowd & bench was going nuts when he scored

GROD said something not bad about Russ, he must have been fantastic. lol thinks that he's overrated. Lillard (yes this year its close but but career lololol). His parents wouldn't even say that.

If they get into the playoffs I'll be the first to say he ruined the season and added time to the upcoming rebuild. It was just another in a long line of bad moves by Presti since kd left.

This guy is a buzzkill. Are Thunder fans never allowed to enjoy a win and the possibility of Brewer providing a stabilizing presence to a team that was clearly shook and disjointed after losing Roberson?

Just to clarify... As a Thunder fan were you openly excited/cheering when the Spurs were making a run in the 4th quarter?

If you’re wanting this team to gel and come together, I would be much more satisfied by the performance against the suns than tonight. Aldridge must have been high tonight. Some of his passes made Westbrook and George blush. If Steven Adams misses any time, this team is in big trouble.

If you’re wanting OKC to keep their draft pick, Adams being out may be the only things that saves the pick. Spurs, wolves and nuggets are all going for an end of season tank.

I actually thought tonight was a step towards the come together idea. The bench gaining confidence, winning a game they really couldn’t afford to lose, finding a way to patch together a front line when Adams went out, avoiding a meltdown at the end. On top of that neither Melo or George could hit water while standing on a beach tonight.

So many things could have led to this being a loss. It turned out to be a comfortable win.

Would I love a first round pick? Of Course
Do I want to miss what I still believe could easily end in a second round playoff series loss for what would all but be the 14th pick? Not sure/leaning towards No, because I believe that would seal the George leaving fate

I didn't see that part. I didn't see the 2nd half of the 4th. I was completely indifferent to them being up the rest of the game though and would have been indifferent to the run. I never cheer for another team, but I don't have to celebrate a bad team having a good game to be a fan. It was in the best interests of the organization for OKC to lose this game. OKC playing a 4-5 game playoff series is not in the best interests of the organization. It doesn't give PG a reason to stay. It keeps them from a slim chance of a high draft pick in a GREAT draft. Winning games at this point does nothing but hurt the long-term outlook of the franchise without doing anything for them short-term.

I'm just too indifferent in general, I come for the banter.

I believe OKC will be the 4 or 5 seed when it’s all settled and will likely play the Jazz (they have a super easy schedule).

I think OKC matches up extremely well against them.

I believe a 1st round series win and looking ok/decent against Rockets/GSW presents best case scenario for George return. I value that possibility far more than the 14th pick in the draft.

Sure OKC could jump to the top of the draft, but that is far more unlikely than winning a first round playoff series.

We will disagree on this. I don't think the chances of PG staying are any different if they make or miss the playoffs at this point. I think getting destroyed in the 1st round, or if we are having a pipe dream 2nd round, makes PG think they can contend with Houston or GS. The best chance to get PG to stay is to miss the playoffs, get lucky with the ping pong balls and convince him that you can flip that drafted rookie into a quality veteran. Once they draft the rookie he will have a cap number for trade purposes. They could, in theory, package a top 3 pick, Singler and Abrines for a quality player, either a wing or a PF, to make for a much better roster next year. If PG doesn't have faith in the team becoming a contender while adding a first round pick, even at #14, do you think he has faith that they can without a first round pick?

I’m just not sure it’s worth it too keep George if we are still stuck with Melo. His contract has us by the short hairs with that stupid no trade clause. If I could see a clear path towards getting significantly better by adding pieces alongside George and Russ then I would say it’s no question we want to win every game right now.

As it stands, most responses have been along the lines of “let Presti work his magic”. He might be able to surprise us beyond imagination but I think about every scenario I can imagine to make this team a top team in the west. After about one or two of my imaginary moves I come back to the realization that we’re more likely to get lucky with ping pong balls than have George resign, Melo opt out, find a really good mle player, find a new head coach,trade Singler and Abrines for very good players, hope Ferguson gets better, Roberson comes back at 100%...that’s my point. If Presti can prove me wrong then I’ll gladly eat crow like I did with Oladipo.

The Spurs aren't going for an end-of-season tank if they're announcing Kawhi Leonard is coming back sometime this week. I'm not sure why the T-Wolves or Nuggets would be going for an end-of-season tank, either.

Melo for one more year. It’s not like it’s forever. That one year and the 14th pick in the draft shouldn’t lead toward someone wanting George to leave.

I also see multiple ways in which the roster can improve even with Melo staying next year
