A front office that goes after players with skills that matter on today's game would be great too.
"I don't know of any player that, when the shot goes up, he doesn't want it to go in," Donovan said

And now seeing the highlights Russ came up big in the clutch too. What a waste.

This team looks so scared. I'm worried because we are going to play some key games but comes clutch time...we only have Russ.

The only good thing Melo is doing this season is forcing Billy out of a job. With Billy leaving him in games he is literally throwing them away making Billy look silly

If only that were true. Billy isn’t going anywhere.

Just saw the schedule, they legit may only win another game or 2. Gonna be tight, the Spurs are doing well.

Which means the playoffs aren’t a lock.

Yeah it's close. Depends on LAC. I don't see Denver getting there.

Who is running this ship? How many more shots does Melo have to miss before what he's done previously in his career becomes irrelevant?

Anyone else remember when Spoelstra sat Whiteside an entire half earlier in the season because he took a defensive play off?

We will know tuesday about the Nuggets. Going to be relieved if they lose one of their two road games against Sixers/Raptors

I think the Clippers are too far behind (and they still play the Jazz/spurs/NOLA/Portland...)

When are we going to blame PG13? I know Melo is trash, Billy Donovan is stupid, but apparently PG13 stayed in LA since the all star week end. He can't shoot anymore and his defense is not near what it was.

I also just saw how far back LA is. I think the worst case is most possible, 8 seed and a sweep.

I would argue that it is different because Spoelstra has practically coached up Whiteside to be the player he is whereas Donovan is coaching Melo, who is used to being catered to. And listen, you will never ever hear the Thunder organization criticize or put down a player's game in the media. It's just not who the Thunder are. What you see in the media, and what goes on behind closed doors is two entirely different things. Can you imagine Kobe Bryant in the twilight of his career being benched by a coach that is new to him?

Also agree on PG, but I always kinda thought he was overrated a little. He's not a number 1 at all, and lately not a great 2.

I personally think we will squeeze out 4 wins. A Russell Westbrook-led team is one that plays up and down to their competition.

Hm...that wasn't really true until they changed coaches. Under Brooks they always played up.

Interesting that in 2015, a 45 win Thunder happened when Durant and Westbrook missed about 82 games worth of time. This year with no injuries, an approximately 45 win Thunder happens. It's like they used to not play so up and down when they had a real coach.

I believe McHale rode his Harden-less bench to the famous win over the Clippers in the playoffs.

I'm talking post-Durant as I really wouldn't consider a team w/ Durant & Westbrook to be considered "Westbrook-led" as I think it was more 50/50 and to the benefit of Russ, yes, but still.

So a poorly coached team plays down to competition. More news at 11. Westbrook has and always was prepared. Interesting the coach who thought they would "figure out the offense themselves" has had preparation issues.
