Please do not take your foot off the gas just b/c you got MEM after.

That MEM team has a bunch of young guys who don’t give a damn about the pick and are trying to have NBA careers. That’s far from a gimme.

MIA is still playing for positioning & is coming off a brutal, lackluster, awful performance against the Knicks. They’re going to want to get some mojo going into the playoffs & TOR likely will sit their starters the last game.

Miami has $147,360,943 in guaranteed salary year despite having multiple expirings. I dont think that we are the team to take on salary from them but Richardson and Ellington are a couple of guys I would like to see on our roster next year.

Richardson would be a great fit. 38% from 3 is probably not even the ceiling if he was getting wide open looks as teams focused on Westbrook & PG.

If this pick conveys, OKC could move the next available pick, but would they? If PG stays you’re looking at north of 80 mil for Westbrook PG Adams. Closer to 90. Need the cheap talent.

Miami has no incentive to win.

With Kyrie out you could argue they have incentive to lose to try to get Boston in the first round instead of the 76ers.

Can they drop to 8 if WAS & MIL win out? They win & they lock themselves in at 6/7

They have the tie breakers, but yes they can drop to 8 if they lose out, Wash wins one and Mil wins out.

How fitting would it be if after beating Houston, we lose our last two to worse teams?

It would fit right in with the rest of this season.

When it comes to driving to the basket, Paul George is the new Jerami Grant. He falls down and throws up wild crap way too often.

What happened to our bench?

We have, right now, three quality contributors from it. If Abrines will continue to contribute we have our playoff rotation.
I am very impressed with Grant. i don't know how he does it, sometimes it does not look like basketball, but the results make more than up for it.

Grant has been maybe the only guy who's surpassed preseason expectations from me.

Please hold on to this.

Anyone else noticed/willing to acknowledge they have looked better with adams on the bench the last few? I think he's banged up, but alot better spacing on O, alot more athletic on D, and nice to have a guy in my boy grant who can switch effectively and will jump to block shots at the rim. Not saying bench adams by any means, but reducing him in certain matchups might be necessary.
