Thanks to Mr. Thunder for everything. Hope he finds a role on the staff somewhere.

the closest any player has come to taking direct shots at sam. wish he was more forthcoming. too professional for that, i guess. this article is tinged by regret and what-could-have-been. a lot different than what udonis haslem's farewell article will look like, i'll bet.

Dude brought his lunch pale to work everyday. Excellent work ethic and showed great confidence coming to work even though his nose looked jacked up. Mad respect. /s

I don’t think he came close @ all to taking direct shots @ Sam. He even said he understands it’s a business. Sam has an owner to answer to and a big part of his responsibility is having to answer for $$$. There’s no telling what factored into trading Harden. Bennett may not have felt comfortable spending the dough. All Collison said was he wish they could have stayed together and had more time. You can hardly call that a shot @ anyone.

A true gentleman and a underrated player.

Hope he can help OKC as an assistant or coach.

In his good bye it sounds like he's moving back to Seattle to spend time with his daughter.

Maybe he'll be involved with the group in Seattle attempting to bring the nba back.

I know Russ and he were the only ones left anyway, but this really feels like the true ending to the first chapter in OKC. That team is gone and it's time to restart.
“If you're getting stops and you're making threes and the other team's not scoring, that's when you're going to see a huge point difference there,” coach Billy Donovan said.

In a parallel universe, he's talking about the titles this team won.

One day, I'll have to travel there.

Came from Raptorsland to say that Nick was a hard worker that I always admired. He was a stable veteran and far exceeded anyone's expectations of him on draft night. Congrats to him on a great career and hopefully he finds a role with your franchise in the near future.

It's a pity that he retires after such bad season for Oklahoma. I'm sure his name will keep on linked to the franchise.

Mr. Thunder - No one will wear #4 again. He was such a great player for the orginization. Hopefully he can hang around and they should give him an office in the orginazation.

Return to Oklahoma City Thunder
