We may have another few years of another supermax player tied up along with Russ. If this does come to fruition, what tweaks will Presti make to help make the team more competitive and get us over the top?

PG can't sign a supermax. Just regular max.

That said it's still 50/50. I think Melo is gone and there's a chance Adams moves for depth.

I just read a report from Dan Feldman that CP3 is telling folks that LBJ wants to go to LA and isnt interested in going to Houston.

To sign the super max I believe you have to be with that team for 3 years beofre you sign that deal. Of corse there are other qualifers which I think he hit this year.

But, the difference in the contract he can sign in LA and OKC is a decent difference.

Right becasue he hasent been on the team for 3 years. Because I believe if Oladipo hits the marks he could receive a super max offer.

No, because he wasn't drafted by the team. Cousins lost his ability to.get one as well. Kawhi will if he's traded.

He has to be on the team that drafted him or has to have been traded on his rookie deal to another team.

I wonder if this counts for Dipo. Becasue we delt him on 6/30 and in theory he was still on his rookie contract. But, I think the salaries only worked out with the deal becomming offical after the league year started.

Don't think it does for Dipo, but don't know if he will be eligible either.

dpe has either crippled or not helped any team except for houston so far. they should just call it the james harden extension. since that rule about being traded during rookie scale was made specifically to allow him to be eligible.

All it does is take an even bigger chunk out of your cap. If you only needed one Superstar to compete then it would be a fix, instead it's like rubbing butter on a burn.

PG remains the Schrodinger signing until Presti opens the box. There is a lot of speculation without any substance out there.
