Boy that Melo Effect is real huh?

What a shocker that Mike Dantoni and Carmelo would not mix.... who would have seen that coming except for Mike Dantoni and the entire state of NY.... and me?

I somehow got interested in what Josh Huestis is up to (I thought he might get a shot in San Antonio), but couldn't find much, other than he supposedly signed for their G-league franchise (Austin Spurs).

That got me thinking if anyone of you is keeping up with what our past (non-star) players are doing?

Last I knew Mitch was bowling. Singler is in China I believe, think Semaj is overseas too, and PJ as well. Not sure on Dakari.

huestis signed a two-way contract with the spurs despite having a jones fracture and the spurs cut him shortly thereafter.

mitch isn't playing basketball anymore, semaj was on the nets summer league roster this year and signed for a team in israel for the season, dakari is playing in china, singler is playing in spain ACB league, and perry jones is playing in the g-league for the iowa wolves.

daequan cook and byron mullens were both playing in the iranian super league from 2016 to 2017. cook is still in the middle east, but in israel now, the same league semaj plays in. mullens is back in the g-league.

Kawhi Leonard is the best player in the NBA right now.

Anyone else remember that one month in cha where Mullens was on sports center on a nightly basis dropping 20 points?

Just checked and Dakari's 3rd in the CBA in rebounds and averaging 22/14.

Not surprising, it's unfortunate he was born 15 years too late.

I'll go with the guy giving you 33/6/5 on 55/53/90 splits.

I'd trade everyone on the team not named Russ for doncic.

Everyone seems to forget that Kawhi was being considered top 5 and argued by some as the 2nd best player before his injury. I would take a healthy Kawhi over anyone OKC has.

I'd take him over anyone other than Lebron and Curry.

I'd give up Russ for Doncic as the start of the long overdue rebuild. I don't think Dallas would do it. Russ for Doncic and then send PG to Houston for a 4 or 5 firsts, whatever they were offering to Minny. It would be the best moves Presti would have made in a long time.

I don't believe that was ever deserved. It was based on him giving A level offense with A+ defense, but he hadnt been a great defensive player that year. This year he's giving A+ offense and seems to be giving more on the defensive end as well.

Sending Russ to Dallas seems like a non starter. But I would readily send PG+Adams.

Reggie Jackson has had more fga than points in half his games so far this season. Currently at 6 points on five shots today. This could be a fun game.

Is there any more lopsided of a player rivalry than Embiid and Drummond? Drummond gets owned every time.
