OK I can understand that it is contract year but still..

He has a contract for this and next year, ergo no contract year, just a fantastic player.

In my opinion Sabonis could've been amazing for us, if we where willing to open up minutes at the center position for him.

Sorry yes my bad. Which makes it even sadder. I wonder if they have tried an "Oladipo + something else" package or was Domas always a dealbreaker for that trade.

Noah vonleh is going to be who we want jerami Grant to be.
“If you're getting stops and you're making threes and the other team's not scoring, that's when you're going to see a huge point difference there,” coach Billy Donovan said.

Allonzo Trier was a really nice find for the Knicks.

No matter what else happens in the NBA this year nothing is going to out weird the wizards.
“If you're getting stops and you're making threes and the other team's not scoring, that's when you're going to see a huge point difference there,” coach Billy Donovan said.

Browsing the Celtics board the complaints sound a lot like the ones we had last season.
"I don't know of any player that, when the shot goes up, he doesn't want it to go in," Donovan said

I’m not surprised Hayward is struggling but I expected them to be better in spite of whatever lingering issues he had. Boston is like the opposite of us offensively. Sometimes it seems like every player on the roster is capped at 15 points.

With Tatum and Mitchell not specifically in mind, Iteems like every time a rookie has a fantastic rookie year people expect them to least to star status the next year, which is pretty rare and leaves them struggling with expectations too high. Same with 'breakout' playoff performances that end up being mostly good matchups and normal variance.

With hindsight Utah should've traded Ricky Rubio in the off-season.

He is an exceptional playmaker and (very) good defender, but his shooting struggles cancels that (more than) out.
Someone like Dragic (able to score on his own, but also able to defer/play in a team-oriented offense) would help Utah tremendously.

It leaves a bitter taste in my mouth that we caught them while they were still way overachieving last season. The very same issues people are now pointing to were there all year long last season as well. The just somehow managed to go on a two-three month run, basically "outplaying" them.

A lot of the issues aren't there if Rubio is hitting 40% from three.

I’m very torn on how I feel about Aaron Gordon.

Yeah me too. He's paid like a star, but isn't quite there yet. Defense is average at best, while the offense is above average, but not amazing. He does seem to be improving as a player though, so he probably hasn't reached his ceiling yet.

Harden had a great stat line but had some critical turnovers that cost the team.

Cripple double.

Flaws aren't that bad.

Edit: And as of right now, Westbrook with a better on court Ortg.
