We just traded TLC & Cash to Chicago for nothing.

Clearing a roster spot and saving money. We're about to make a move.

The Bulls just cut Melo in a corresponding move.

I don't think he is eligible to come back. Which is a good thing for all. So he cant' sign with OKC, Houston, Atlanta or Chicago. On to his 5th team this year.

The Knicks, Heat and Lakers all make sense for Melo.

Think so ?

Eh, to me it just looks like a money saver, don't think we'll do a major trade.

But I do want Burton back with us to play some minutes.

Well to be fair it could be the worse year to spend so much money in taxes (meaning : GSW is unbeatable). If the plan is to save some money that he's willing to spend next year, I'm cool with that.

Fingers crossed. Does seem like that's the case. This TLC dump could've happened at the last minute, right? No need to do it now, unless we needed the roster spot first.

I sure as hell hope it won't be a "Let's salary dump Adams and turn him into 3 smaller salaries" deal.

Must be Schroeder for Devin Booker and TJ Warren. That's what GROD would do at least.

No - I think Presti is all in on this team. This has been his plan from the beginning, build up to the prime of RW and PG (formerly the plan was KD). Doesn't mean it isn't an Adam flip, but I get the feeling it won't be to shed salary. Only to improve the team.

he is eligible to come back. this kind of situation was clarified by the nba in 2017 when bogut was bought out. https://www.nbcsports.com/bayarea/warriors/reports-warriors-can-reacquire-andrew-bogut-reunion-not-likely

imo we did this trade to make it possible to acquire a vet min buyout guy without increasing tax payment.

Seconded. Not only is it the simplest option, but it's most in line with what's been done in the past.
“If you're getting stops and you're making threes and the other team's not scoring, that's when you're going to see a huge point difference there,” coach Billy Donovan said.

Yeah like every year we don't make anything in the trade deadline and say ''there are going to be tons of great players in the buy out market''
