In my opinion, maybe coloured by my appreciation of their cohesive team, are the Clippers a really good, but not elite team who might give us a reality check in the sense that we should know, after the game, where we are standing right now(without Russ).

I hope we win and think we have a good chance if we are hitting our shots.

We came pretty close to beating GSW, I think we can handle the Clippers.

I hope so, but the Clippers are a very demanding team, they have 'weapons' at every position, they are that deep that they can (in theory) exploit almost any possible weakness (e.g. I expect for today that Boban is going to feast, especially if Adams is in fould trouble).

I also think that we did better than expected against the Warriors (who shot relatively bad outside of Curry) and we have to see if we are playing up to that level again.

At the very least we won't have to watch Patterson trying to cover boban this year.

I read earlier they were leaving the decision to Russ and it was implied the doctors were being taken out of the equation. I was afraid he'd choose to play even if he wasn't really ready with the game being in LA. I'm glad he is showing the maturity to not rush himself back. The last thing we want to see is for him to come back, have issues and miss 4-6 weeks of the season.

Time for patterson to show something more than he had last year, no more excuses. The roster looks much better this year if they can get full strength. Big game coming from Schroeder tonight!

So I'm assuming we just moved our usual third quarter collapses to the first quarter for the season.
