Clippers are a team I like more than some people do. They are built to be a good regular season team. We’ll be fortunate to win.

I think we will win this game, but only if we actually have a starting center. If Steven and NN are both out, then Gortat and Harrell are going to feast on the glass. OKC will have the two best players on the floor for large stretches and Adams is right in there with LAC's best players (If he plays)

Gotta beat back-end playoff teams like the Clippers if you want to get out of a 1-4 hole. The really good teams are out of the question if you cant beat those teams at home.

If either of nerlens or Steven are out then boban will put up 20 points in a couple of five minute stretches.
“If you're getting stops and you're making threes and the other team's not scoring, that's when you're going to see a huge point difference there,” coach Billy Donovan said.

Royce said he expects Adams and Noel to play.

It will be interesting to see if they learnt anything about late game execution after the last Clippers game and if Donovan can be a little more creative with his lineups when Boban is out there. Also are we going to get bad Russ or slighter more in control Russ today?

I'm going to say Russ has a bad game by the standards of a top 10 player. He'll shoot 10-30 from the field, 1-9 from 3, 6-9 from the line for 27 points with 6 rebounds, 9 assists and 7 turnovers.

I am inclined to agree - it isn't very often that he demonstrates the awareness of his own limitations and what makes for good team play, more than one game in a row.

Also narrator: They imploded in the 3rd quarter that game, and Westbrook didn't play.

They were losing at the half. They won the 3rd by 8 points. They were up by as many as 9 and finished up 6. Dropping three points off their biggest lead and finishing on a 5-2 run to close the quarter isn't an implosion. They imploded in the 4th when they got outscored by 22.

The implosion in the 3rd was the Boston game and Russ did play.

You ain’t lying. I have faith that Russ will show some consistency. This year is a big year and I think big changes from Russ are coming. I hope I’m right, but Russ never ceases to amaze me with the good... and the bad.
