PHX is just putrid. Good to have them on the schedule after that terrible Dallas game to sort of get right or at least get to feeling a bit better. On to the next.

OH and our guy Diallo doing a chin-up on the rim really took me back to the early 90s before they made that an automatic tech. Can't believe he got away with it but it definitely looked cool.

Diallo can surprisingly get to the bucket off the dribble far better than I realized.

Also his awareness to move into space is pretty advanced for his age/experience

Also Ferg becoming more aggressive and playing solid defense.

Both look like rotation players at worst as they grow up

Schroder's jump was the best part.

And yea PHX is just so bad. They need a point guard, and a big who can defend.

Ferguson has definitely made progress but I’m very concerned about his shot. It’s bad. Really bad.

Players trust Ferguson on defense. Don't know if I would, but they do.

That wouldn't even make him a g-league player. At 80% Roberson is worthless. His entire value is based on defense. If he comes back as less than 90% of the defender he was he has no place in the NBA given his offensive limitations and is a decent g-league player. At 85% he is g-league bench player. At 80% he will need to find a coaching job when his contract is up after next season.

Great learning experience for him. Booker really muscled him in the post a couple times. Was an obvious area he needs to improve in (just getting stronger) but otherwise he did a nice job staying with him and contesting his shots even if he did pick up a couple fouls.

I think he means 80% athletically, not 80% of his overall efficacy on defense. He could be only 80% athletically and still be better than 80% overall because his defensive abilities were as much or more about his intelligence and length as they were his burst and quickness.

His defense is still a work on progress but he’s doing some really nice things out there. It’s just disheartening to have found another really nice defender with a busted shot.

The jumper is terrible, like Ronnie Brewer level bad (there's a blast from the past). I'm hoping he improve given the free throw stroke looks decent.

Ugh. I just hate how erratic we are from 3. It's like the only way for us to be somewhat competent in that regard is to randomly "get hot".

I agree re George. His main game needs to be spot up shooting in rhythm. Contested pull ups can't come first.
