Any word on Abrines as of late? Do they have him on a strict minutes restriction or something? Last 3 games he’s played 7, 7, and 8 minutes.

I’m so confused with his situation.

He is sick. He has the flu, according to the team. He has tried to play and been unable to continue. It will probably come out at some point that the team was trying to have him play with pneumonia, which would explain the issue. It would also fit the great tradition of OKC's medical staff. If they can get on the court get them on the court and if it makes the issue worse, oh well, they'll have a day or two to get back to good enough to limp out there and play.

Not sure how I missed that but I can’t wait to get back to watching the offense flow with Abrines out there. He’s a super important piece for us this year as he’s our only pure shooter. I really hope him being sick doesn’t slow down his or the team’s momentum.

With Abrines on the court:
Pace- 94.4
Ortg- 109.4
eFG%- 47

With Abrines off the court:
Pace- 99.6
Ortg- 115.3
eFG%- 51.1

So you can't wait to get back to a slower, less efficient and inferior offense? How long have you been looking at the game of basketball? I can't say watching, because you have repeatedly made it clear you don't watch or understand the game. I am giving you the benefit of the doubt when it comes to you sitting in front of a tv with an empty expression on your face confused by the tall people bouncing and throwing the round thing.

Stop. You were the one clamoring for Abrines to play more on this board over the other SGs on the roster. You can’t do that and then post garbage like this. This is a terrible post. Putting stats out is fine. Acting like an arrogant condescending jerk for advocating for the same thing your are now against reveals a lot.

Also you know full well I can prove it if asked.

Abrines is the best SG on the roster right now. However, he hasn't been playing well and the stats represent that. There hasn't been an "offensive flow" because of him being on the court. It is one thing to say he should play more. It is another to say if he played more we should expect a better offensive flow. It is another thing to say the offense has flowed and been better with him so far this year. I would have completely agreed with the idea that Abrines should be starting and/or playing more minutes with the starters.

I can't agree with the lie that Abrines has been good this year. I can't agree with the lie that Abrines has improved the offensive flow this year. I can't agree with a statement saying things HAVE happened that have not. I could completely agree with a statement saying those things SHOULD happen if Abrines was starting.

<3

Sticks and stones may break my bones, but words will never hurt me.

Westbrook/Abrines/George this season:

51 minutes
114.5 ORtg
101.7 DRtg
63.3 AST%
55.3 TS%

I could throw some more lineup data out there, but screw it. Simply saying having Abrines and Westbrook back at full strength solves a lot of problems for us. Especially rotation issues.

Where can I find stats of how Adams has faired against Thompson and vice versa?

Two out of the first three Cavs baskets were scored against a Abrines. He just fouled Hood for two free throws and before that he bricked a three and turned the ball over trying to catch it with his face.

Westbrook doing Westbrook things again. Takes a 3, misses, leaves Clarkson open for 3 again.

This is why I don’t want Abrines starting. His defense is fine on second unit, but teams are going to exploit the crap out of him. Ferguson is already that much better defensively.

It’s almost like Patterson is purposefully missing shots at the rim at this point. He’s been that bad.

Westbrook playing smarter. Getting into the post on Sexton to force CLE to double and dumping it off to Grant to who is getting fouled and going up strong with it.
