A real test. Finally.
The Pistons play good, but I guess we're going to be able to mitigate many of their strengths (mainly rebounding). Having a healthy Reggie Jackson almost guarantees a great game of Westbrook (or at least outstanding effort, chances are Westbrook starts to overshoot).
If our shooters continue hitting their shots I hope and think we will win.

They are 8-2 over the last 10 games, but none have been that impressive except where they beat an Ibaka-less Raptors 106-104. Earlier this season, they defended home court by narrowly beating the Sixers 133-132.
So they can put up points. They are the 11th best defense in the league according to adjusted DRtg, so this will be one of the tougher defenses we’ve faced. Only two better defenses we’ve faced are Nuggets (3rd) and Clippers (10th).
Detroit ranks in the bottom half of the league (18th) with an adjusted NetRtg of -0.18; that’s just a hair worse than the Rockets.
I think this will be a relatively close game. We’re going to need to be on our Ps and Qs going into Detroit for this game. They are 8-3 at home.

We will proubly beat them by 50.lol Its the bad teams that give us a hard time. Its like if we play a good team we actually have a game plan a semi stick to it but is we play a bad team they just do whatever fo 40 min then run alittle offensive sets to hopefully come back and win.

They just beat GSW w/ Curry, albeit it’s Curry’s first game back. However, GSW has struggled with teams that have a strong front court. I think we match up better against Detroit.

I don't see how Grant doesn't get eaten alive by Blake.

I think Grant will be fine. Westbrook should be able to sag off Jackson enough make things a little more complicated. Abrines should fair well versus Robinson.

Looking at their numbers, this looks a hell of a lot like their "hot start" last season. Their most used lineups are - once again - losing to the opponent and they have a bunch of bench players with way too high NetRtGs. Things will probably even out as the season goes along and they'll be once again fighting for that 8th spot, if anything.

Donovan said Terrance Ferguson (left ankle sprain) and Hamidou Diallo (left ankle sprain) each went through contact practice on Sunday, but Diallo was removed from contact after experiencing some soreness. Ferguson and Diallo will be reevaluated Monday before their status is determined against Detroit. ... The Thunder assigned Abdel Nader to the G League Oklahoma City Blue on Sunday so he could play against the Agua Caliente Clippers in Oklahoma City. Nader will join the Thunder on its three-game road trip.

I really hope Presti signs burton to a full contract and picks up Billy Preston on a 2 way deal before anyone else does. And before anyone says we need a roster spot open for player that are buyout we can always buyout one of our expiring contracts like Tlc.Preston with a little bit of development could be really good fot this team next year he's 6'10 with a nice jumper and Burton deserves a spot.

Billy Preston is on a 2-way with Cleveland, I believe.
Edit: Didn’t know he got waived!
If Cleveland is waiving you, that’s raising some red flags for me.
Does being waived off a 2-way mean we can pick Preston up and sign him to our g-league team or does he simply remain with cleveland?

I think the only way they can change G-league team is if they get another 2 way contract. But i could be totally wrong.

A thunder player doing contact drills before he's ready?

As long as the Adams/Noel rotating tandem can keep control of the boards, it shouldn't be to difficult to outpace Blake even if he goes off. It will come down to how productive Schroder and the bench can be.

Terrance Ferguson took one big step and let fly a shot from beyond halfcourt. It missed, but that wasn’t important.
