I really have no idea what to expect on this one. The Kings seemingly play the game of their lives against OKC and OKC makes a bunch of dumb mistakes. At some point this has to change though right?

Don't think Shump has played in the last couple games, which means he'll be well rested when he drops his traditional 20 point 1st half this time. So well rested he might carry it into the 2nd half this time.

Kings got embarrassed last night which means we’ll probably get their best effort. I don’t dont have a good feeling about this one.

I feel better about this game than I would have about a week and a half ago. PG transforming into a fire breathing dragon has a great deal to do with that.

The three deciders for this game:
1. How many TOs does Russ have?
2. How many points does Shumpert have?
3. Which team wins the rebounding battle

Bagley being out helps 3. If they can at long last contain the mighty shumpert, we have a great chance.
I don’t love the whole “feed SA ad naeseum in the post” strat all the time, but this might be a good matchup for it with bagley gone.

Kings are second in pace. We are sixth. That really surprises me because I see a lot of times that it seems like we could push the pace and choose not to do so.

We're deceptively quick.

This could be why they play OKC so well. OKC's halfcourt defense is so good, but their transition offense is also really good, so teams have to choose between slowing it down and dealing with our halfcourt defense, or playing faster and dealing with our great transition offense. The Kings don't have to make that decision because the fast pace is right up their alley.

I have no faith in OKC to beat the Kings, ever. They always stick it to us. This is an L tonight. Don't @ me.

Okc wins by 20+. Grant and Abams will have a big game.

Bogdanovic are Shumpert are questionable, Bagley is out. I don't think the Kings are gonna win this one to be honest.

Our bench will for sure be interesting.

Yay, no Schröder (and Felton).

But does this mean Burton will play? Or will abrines play point with the second unit?
Or will George play with the second unit as a ballhandler? Or what about Diallo.

Realistically this will decrease our chances to win, but I'm very excited by this. If there are some unconventional lineups that work well, that could be a blessing in disguise.

I wasn't feeling confident beforehand but this could be a disaster tonight.

Get the Kings shorthanded (not that it'd probably matter anyway the Kings are our daddy this year) and we lose 2/3rds of our PG rotation to suspension. So, the Kings will be without three key rotation players and we'll have one PG dressed.

Should be interesting.
Said in a thread about which point guards would make OKC better if they replaced Westbrook:

Paul George will have to pick up some ball handling duties, which will take away from him as an off-the-ball threat and scoring option. Westbrook might have to play 44 tonight.
