Don't have a good feeling about PG13's performance tonight but if he wants to consolidate his place in the MVP conversation, that's the kind of night he should play well. He will have to defend on Harden (with some help) and Tucker will probably defend on him all the time.
If only Westbrook was playing well it would be a good match up without CP3.

Man Abrines really strugles staying healthy consistently. There's always something. A little injury here, an illnes there. Sucks.

I'm interested to see how well we are going to defend the Harden/Capela pick-and-roll. The last few games it seemed like a potential weakness (Adams overhelping on the perimeter) and Harden is well-equipped to exploit it.
I also hope/expect that Westbrook has to defend Gordon a lot, Abrines/Ferguson struggled with super-strong guards in the past(and Gordon is one of the strongest in my opinion).
Whoever of Capela/Adams gets in foul-trouble will be a huge influence on the outcome.
If Westbrook plays well, George shoots at least decent and Schröder doesn't completely halt our second unit, we are the favorites to win this game.

uh, ok. russ has had preseason surgery and injuries, and his shooting is now a two year trend. his 3pt% dropped 5% year to year since his mvp season and ft% 10%.
Well abrines had the craps for two weeks. With Ferguson leaving the game sick yesterday it probably means Alex will be a game time decision by tuesday.
Reality is parodying itself.

At this point just make sure he has plenty of fluids and can return after the all star break.

We should be up more. Houston has not scored well at all. Need to take advantage of that.

Team doing dumb things. Like the effort on the offensive glass though. Team is probably tired. 3 games in 4 days.

They need to clean up the defensive rebounding and then it'll be a comfortable win.

The difference in the amount of contact it takes for harden to draw a foul vs Westbrook is just ridiculous.

I'm pleased with an 8 point lead at half.

For all the talk about how good of a passer harden is and how difficult it would be to play with Westbrook, Russ is MUCH more willing. Even during his mvp season he looked to pass more than harden does.

Westbrook, Ferguson, Schroeder = 9 3pts attempts PG13, Grant and 2pat = 3
Doesn't look good.

Harden is pretty amazing. He's literally the only quality player on that team. I'm surprised the Rockets aren't down by 20.

Patrick Patterson needs to be barred from the court. Forget the percentages, you can just see his shot has no chance at going in, usually before he even releases it.

I don't know if any of the others are quality, I don't think they touched the ball in the final 6 minutes of the half.
