I say just rest him and let russ take over and see if it gets him out of his funk.

This just has the feeling of a potential bad loss for a struggling team. They almost blew the Utah game then back-to-back loses to Utah and Houston. If PG is out and we see Russ playing hero ball it could be a bad combination. Let Booker get going from 3 and just to spite us all Oubre has a big game so getrich can run his mouth about how we should trade for him.

If we lose this one is it fair to have a measure of panic?

No its not. We are 5-2 in our last 7.
Over the last 7 games, Phoenix has the 7th-best net rating in the NBA (+4.3). They have the 7th-best offensive rating (scoring 111.5 points per 100 possessions) and 10th-best defensive rating (allowing 107.1 points per 100 possessions) during this stretch.

I agree. It would also be a great time to showcase Schroder’s value as well as Diallo’s and some other fringe players if you are a GM looking to improve their stock value as we head closer to the trade deadline.
Not saying this is what’s going on, but if we rest George, it could be a good time to showcase our different assets to PHX if we are wanting something from PHX. I imagine Jones will be at this game watching closely.
