The mans has been killing it in the G-league not sure if it would transfer to the Nba but we might need him next year. Why did we not just sign Donte Grantham to a ten day contract if we liked what we saw give him another one or sign him?ThunderBolt wrote:getrichordie wrote:Damn, what did he do to deserve this?

If a team waives a two-way player midseason, can they sign another one?
Yes. However a player signed mid-season will have a prorated amount of NBA days to use. So, if he’s signed exactly halfway through the season, then he could get 22–23 days with the NBA club (not the original 45 a player gets if they sign before the season).
How teams will utilize these deals mid-season is yet to be seen. Some will certainly be waived, while some may be converted to standard NBA contracts. Either option will open another spot for a new player to potentially get an NBA look.

Interesting, never heard of that portion before. Where'd you get that info from?

The only reason I knew it was I was looking it we could sign Billy Preston when the cavs waived him and ran across it.

Is seen him quite a bit when he was at Clemson he's is a smart basketball player that playes like every play is his last.He was more of a mid range shooter his first few year at Clemson but from what I read a few days ago he worked on his shooting form and increased his 3 point% 9% since his freshman year.spearsy23 wrote:Honestly, if he showed up as the Mavs starting center tomorrow I wouldn't even recognize him.
He is averaging 17.2 points, 11.6 rebounds and 2 blocks in first 15 games that not a bad stat line even if it's the G-league.I not sure he's game would translate well to the nba but seems he is a solid player to go over seas and have a good Career.ThunderBolt wrote:Probably the most impressive thing about Tyler Davis is that he managed to have a thread go 16 posts and counting.
