Is Alex in the hospital? How is a guy already out the day before the game when he’s sick?

The toughest game for us considering history. Id rather have us play GSW at home than Dallas in any shape away, especially now that Luka is starting to establish himself early as an HOF type of guy in the league, and us just not being able to counter any of Dallas gameplans for us. Coaching staff has to make some changes.

I think they like them because neither team gets rest advantage. That’s always a point of contention with back to backs with teams viewing them as schedule losses. Home and homes remove that component and considering b2bs are unavoidable with the amount of games played, they probably figured it’s the best way to go about it.
Wes Matthews is out. Not sure if that’s good news or bad news considering his play. Wish it was barea.

Dallas is 14-3 at home, and 2-15 on the road. They're a garbage road team, but almost unbeatable at home...

That's a good point. Lends further credence to the suspicion that this could be something fairly serious.

This is how the results should look when a pro is shooting in an empty gym. Nothing but bottoms. I bring this up not to suggest Ferg will someday hit 100% of his threes, but merely to point out I think the building blocks are there for this guy to become a fairly competent 3 point specialist.
If anyone's ever watched Roberson warm up, you know not every pro can do this btw.
Oh boy. I bet Nader's going to get rotation minutes from here on out because they think he could replace Patterson.
I think they will give Nader some of Alex’s minutes and some of Patterson’s minutes.
Nader can probably defend a little bit better than Alex. And he can hit open 3s. We’ve seen evidence of this in Boston. No one payed attention because... well... it’s Boston and not Oklahoma City and Nader did not play well with starters in Boston (shocker! /s). He will be fine for us off the bench and I think he should be getting Patterson’s minutes unless we think it’s going to tank Patterson’s trade value.

I don't get trying to shoe horn him into a PF role. Seems like a massive stretch (no pun intended).
The question is... why not shoehorn him in @ the 4? Patterson has been garbage. Let’s see what Nader can do... what’s the worst that could happen? Patterson gets a reality check?

There's little to no evidence for this. 60 something 3s as a garbage time player is not convincing me of some guy's ability to shoot.
But that's besides the point: This guy is not an NBA level player and should not see the court, period. Don't get caught up in some turd suddenly having "a game". It happens all the time, all over the league. Hell, we've been the recipient of a hell of a lot of scrubs suddenly coming out of nowhere against us. They're still scrubs despite those games.

Brad Stevens gave up on Nader.

Remember early after we picked up Brewer when everyone thought his three point shooting was so great and he was clearly better than Roberson?
