we are playing the close to each half of every game with a built in disadvantage by playing schroder instead of ferguson. the ferguson starters are objectively better. schroder with the starters is especially susceptible defensively to teams with long wings like the lakers. schroder was killed repeatedly either directly or because we pre-switched to avoid getting him exposed and the lakers win the cross matchup.
this is exactly the same thing that happened last year with melo playing when grant was clearly a better option. or early last year when andre roberson was getting benched. schroder + westbrook is ok sometimes but it is usually suboptimal.
