Hate the fact that they just fired their coach. Team always explode and respond great the next game.

How many seasons before we learn how to defend on Wiggins?

I don’t think the casual nba fan/media member realizes how bad it is right now.

Just like this last play when Adams drew the foul there have been a lot of times where Westbrook just looses his handle for no reason even if it doesn’t result in a turnover.

Gonna lose this one, too. Back-to-back really bad home losses. This could be the beginning of our plummet down the standings.

an added bonus to westbrook bricking these post up jump shots is that he frequently chases after the ball, swiping aimlessly at the big getting the rebound, and we end up mismatched in transition.

or the last one where adams recovered it, and passed back to russ. russ' ball handling is way off. people are in denial.

How can you think such a thing? This is clearly a WCF quality team and title contender! On a serious note, the Thunder probably pull this game out.

I know a lot of people are down on Wiggins and think he’s overpaid (rightfully so on the pay), but help me understand why everyone is so eager to give up on him?

You can't be in decline and average a triple double! <insert mocking laugh>

That would almost be funny if I didn't have to hear that at work after every decent game Russ has. The concept that a player can still be very good and declining is too much for a lot of people to accept. If LeBron were only the 10th best player in the world he would be declining. It is the same with Russ. Russ is still the best PG the Thunder have. Russ is still a VERY good player. Russ is not as good as he used to be due to his declining physical abilities and the inability to use basketball skills, i.e. great shooting mechanics, to make up for the loss of athleticism.

westbrook and grant repeatedly switching that 1-4 screen is not smart. i think this is a russ-specific thing because it wasn't switched otherwise. there's just no reason to switch it. the hedge defense that ferg and george are giving to russ on taj in those situations is spreading us out too much. and we get beat on the boards.
