I’m a defense first kind of guy but our offense is inexcusably bad.

I thought we'd come out tonight angry and focused.

Nope, 5+ minutes to go in the 2nd quarter and we're down by 13. It's Thursday night all over again.

I was pessimistic because we played well at San Antonio despite losing the game :(

We played well at San Antonio, but the Spurs played out of their freakin' minds and got some serious home cooking in the 4th quarter and OTs and still barely won.

Spurs taking many 3's because we are so scared defending the paint..was pretty obvious that would happen.

That sequence pretty much sums up the first half.

George gets a steal, then immediately loses to Aldridge right under the basket but we recover and make an incredible block; George scraps and gets the loose ball and then throws it from his butt right to Forbes who gets an uncontested layup.

I think if you put Zion Williamson at the four this team could be pretty good.

Good news is that we can still end up 14th and get Zion

so is russ ever going to get better? blocked twice at the rim by white, once by bertans. 1-9 from the field. yeah, yeah, he contributes in other ways. our offense won't work without him scoring though and he's at 44% ts last 20 games so he's going in the wrong direction.

Presti went all in on defense and athletes thinking russ and George could carry the offense. It worked when George played like an mvp.

So why have we gone away from giving Steven Adams 12-15 FGA a game? We were rolling when he was putting up 20 points a night. The last two weeks he’s barely been given a look and we have really started to struggle.

I don’t mean to derail the thread but we really need to get lucky if we are going to be “sustainable”.

George is one of those guys that I know if his shot is going in as soon as he releases it based on rhythm.

Well George is having a great season and is starting to play well tonight but he isn't a scorer like cupcake unfortunately.

George not being as good as cupcake is about 25th on the list of things preventing this team winning a championship.

Spurs getting home cooking against us in the Peake.

That was a terrible offensive foul call. Wow.

Oh, and look, another questionable "pump fake, lean into the defender a little bit by the Spurs shooter" to get a shooting foul call by the refs.

Never thought he would be. Just too many casual fans mentioning his ''MVP season'' with 40 pts games being a reason for us to go deep in the playoffs.

Adams still limping. I'm not a fan of resting players but maybe it would be wise to rest him against the Hawks and Lakers (if Lebron doesn't play)

How are we supposed to defend with Westbrook having 4 fouls and Schroeder on the floor at the same time?
