Should be an easy game. Would like to see the bench guys get more time. Nader and Pat are on fire and they're opening up lanes for Schroder so hopefully we see that continue. Oh, and Tferg needs to keep shooting. He's a lot more valuable if he's a threat on both sides of the floor. Has great shooting form and a fast release so I think he can be an outside threat for the season.

Should be a win for OKC but I think the Hawks will make them work for it. Atlanta is starting to figure some things out. IIRC, they're playing .500 basketball over the past few weeks with some solid wins mixed in there.

Bazemore should still be out but Collins will be a tough cover for Adams. He rebounds well and has good athleticism with a decent outside shot to boot.

Grant will be on him no? I was under the impression they started Dedmon along with Collins in the frontcourt. However your point still stands they'll have to box out tonight Collins is a great rebounder.

Wonderful start to the 2nd quarter. From up 29-25 after one to down 35-31 2+ minutes into the second.

Good job bench.

Is it a coaching decision to switch a wing/schroder onto Len/Collins on pick and roll or is it just what the players are doing?

Is it so hard to focus against bad teams when you are paid $300K/game?

Can't name a player that is playing ''ok''. We are bad and boring to watch.

How do you lose a quarter by 15 to a team as awful as the Hawks? We suck so bad right now. 2019 has been really bad to us.

Better yet, how do you let a team as terrible as the Hawks score 45 points on you in one quarter?

You effectively can't play the bench unit at the moment.

About to be 1-4 in our last five with home losses to the Wizards (really bad team) and T-Wolves (average team), and a road loss to the Hawks (really bad team).

Our bench has completely blown this for us tonight.

1st Q: 29-25 OKC
2nd Q: 45-30 ATL
3rd Q: 41-27 OKC
4th Q: 24-9 ATL (in progress)

Our bench tonight:

Diallo: -18
Nader: -16
Patterson: -10
Schroder: -10

Nader + Diallo aren't NBA players.

Steve + Grant on pace for 40 minutes here. They look exhausted.

How bad is this team right now?

How do you lose, in a five game stretch, at home to the Wizards and T-Wolves and get blown out on the road by the Hawks?

Again, some of you scoffed/laughed at me, but the bottom is absolutely falling out for this team right now. We're really bad.

Yeah, our bench consists of two non-NBA players (the ones you mentioned) and right now I'm not even sure Schroder is an NBA player. He's an extremely inefficient shoot first and second point guard who can't defend any semi-competent NBA players.

At this point we are just so lucky to have an healthy team. More luck than good/disciplined basketball team :(

Schroder is a NBA player, but he isn't a 30 minute a night NBA player. He's a 16ish MPG backup PG. The problem is that he has an inflated opinion of himself, like Melo, Reggie and Waiters did when they were here, and management seems to encouraging him to have that opinion by promising him a bigger role than he deserved and not changing his role as he has proven incapable of it.

I’m not going to post a tank gif or say Russ is declining, but I will say that if this team as currently constructed can’t beat the Hawks then I’m vehemently against moving any future asset to improve this roster.
