I think PG comes out on fire to start the game, hibernates during the middle, and comes out firing at the end.
The key will be the middle of the game where he is either sitting or not going full tilt. If this team figures out a way to consistently either play to a draw or stay out slightly ahead during that time, there is a ton of potential there.

You know the answer to that.

It's unbelievable. I can only assume at this point that whatever it is is probably well known inside the building and to the reporters but everything is off the record. If its something serious, chronic or mental health issues for instance, that's about the only thing that would make the sense for them to just put an embargo on all information about it. People don't just disappear from work for a month for no reason.

I bet we find out when he's eventually included as a throw in for a trade or quietly not resigned or whatever. It'll be like 2 or three sentences in one of Royce's pieces on ESPN and that'll be all there is to it.

Great win considering the circumstances. They could have rolled over after the 2-12 start or the horrible 2nd half of the 3rd quarter given that they were down multiple guys and that they were coming off a great win with this being the umpteenth game over a short span, but I'm glad they didn't. Some stretches were atrocious defensively, some were good. Gotta clean that up.

Offensively they played very well, finding good shots without making all that many 3s. The 110 ORtG streak continues and they're closing in on neutral regarding their ORtG vs the opposing teams' DRtG.

Russ had a great balance offensively. A lot less trash midrange shots, found some great easy shots for his teammates.

It doesnt matter. I would assume a mental illness, but you've got to respect how the organisation have handled it. Hopefully hes back for good now and can contribute.

Also, he loves the organisation and is in a contract year. Hopefully we can keep him on as very friendly contact.

I get the negativity at times surrounding him.

But how many better back up PGs are there in the league?

Hes been a revelation considering the stretch Melo scenarios.

What? No Schroeder bashing this time?

I was pretty sure someone will post up bunch of stats and numbers, proving us that he actually had a bad game and overall a negative effect on the team....

When does the Schröder congregation meet? Twice a month aka when he has a good game or more often than that?

you know it's bad when dennis schroder, defensive savant that he is, has to throw his hands up in abject frustration after westbrook abandons his man yet again for no reason at all.

westbrook's defense in this game has been the worst i've ever seen it.

Westbrook's defense was terrible overall but you picked a weird play to complain about, he was guarding Simmons on this possession and stayed with him when Grant went to double Vucevic who was posting up. And Isaac missed the three as usual since he's terrible at shooting 3s.

Dennis is the highest paid of all that list. Only Lin is anywhere close.

George Hill is a better back up too and he's the only one getting more than Schroeder. He has one year less on his contract though

You can get Jerian Grant from us for a bag of peanuts, he'd improve a lot if he joins his brother, honest.

Just watched the game.

Grants defensive rebounding is annoyingly bad.

Some pretty terrible rotations on defense most of the game. Players seemed to be chasing each others botched coverages on the 3pt line.

Lucky dennis got hot in the 4th and they played the magic or else it wouldnt have been a W. Aw well thats 6 in a row? Cant complain!

Ps
Ross would be handy to have if they can get him for cheap

How many of those have scored 18 in the 4th quarter and single handed carried a game down the stretch?
