There would be nothing more embarrassing than losing at home to a Grizz team that's about to lose Gasol and Conley. So we wont.

They could still be there and play tomorrow. They are asking multiple firsts for Conley. Talks with Charlotte for Gasol have slowed. Memphis really doesn't get enough credit for being horrible.

Fair enough. TBH, it would be almost equally embarrassing losing with Gasol and Conley still there.

When I say horrible, i meant horribly ran. Conley isn't worth multiple firsts. The fact that Memphis apparently can almost dump Conley and get a frp should be enough for them to do cartwheels.

Maybe the fact that he's injury prone is what lower his value so much.

Gasol's value was so much higher 2 years ago.

Don't know why Memphis waited that much before trading them. We know for a while that they would have to rebuild and they waited too much . It's a shame because it's a great small market organization...

I'm going to be pissed if we lose to or struggle to beat a depleted Grizzlies team.

Hopefully the defense can build a false sense of confidence by stymieing a shorthanded Grizz team.

Abrines out yet again. This whole charade is pathetic and ridiculous. The league should intervene. You can't just banish a guy from the rotation without giving a reason. If he can't play because of an illness, just say so. If you don't him to play, don't play him. But cut this nonsense out. Sickness, then personal, then active but not playing, then he plays and now we're back to personal.

Good performances from diallo and Ferguson would be a nice consolation prize for the deadline disaapointment.

I know it doesn't matter but I'm still rooting for Westbrook to break the triple double record

I'm not up to date, what triple-double record exactly (most consecutive?)?

I hope and think we should just keep feeding Adams inside, I don't see the Grizzlies being able to defend that today.

This game is a must win.

He's clearly sick but those ''personal'' stuff are ridiculous. Just say he has a disease and he wants to keep it private.

With how we rotated on defense it looked like we were the team who traded half their roster.

Still think we will win this, but the effort has to be better to do so.

It's been over a month now and this defense is still looking like hot garbage. They can't even slow down this below average Memphis Grizzlies offense.

I think it's time to scrap this defensive system, at least partially, and go with something with not as much switching.

OKC's team defense + the opponent's shot making the last few games has been wild

Even without Gasol, and in the wake of trade deadline mayhem directly impacting their team, we still give up 32 points in the 1st quarter to a crap Grizzlies squad.

Our defense has completely fallen off a cliff.
Said in a thread about which point guards would make OKC better if they replaced Westbrook:
