Mental illness doesn't discriminate. I wish Alex all the best and I hope he gets all the help and support he needs and is able to find some peace.

To anyone else... talk to someone if you need to, it's nothing to be ashamed of, and you are loved.

I'm sure as hell gonna miss him. Always liked him and he started this season as a much improved player. Too bad I won't be able to yell "SI SENOR" anymore.

Even if he never plays another game of basketball, he’s made around $15 million dollars. Hopefully he’s managed it right and can have a comfortable life after this issue is resolved.

Probably more than that since he was playing professionally overseas. I don't think money should be a problem if he has any sense at all.

One of the most bizzare NBA stories/mysteries in the recent years.

Dude, what are you talking about? Nobody is talking about mental illness. Don't jump the gun and start calling a guy mentally ill unless you got the facts.

Feel like unfinished work. He was getting better on defense before his ''personal issues''.

All the best to Alex! Very bizarre situation. Does anyone have any actual evidence of what it could be? They have kept it very under wraps.

I'm pretty sure he can score some. And last night he played a great defense too. Grabed a few important rebounds, was hustling etc. The guy deserves a chance.

Yeah, he was OK last night. I just wonder how his outside shooting is. Seemed good in college, but havent seen any in the NBA.
