I didn't realize that Nurkic has been that important for Portland:

Lillard ON, McCollum ON, Nurkic ON: 119.7 ORtG | 109.7 DRtG | +10.0 NetRtG in 1654 minutes
Lillard ON, McCollum ON, Nurkic OFF: 113.5 ORtG | 116.0 DRtG | -2.5 NetRtG in 400 minutes
Lillard ON, Nurkic OFF: 114.4 ORtG | 112.4 DRtG | +2.0 NetRtG in 954 minutes

It's okay we can lose this game its game 1 away from home. If pg isn't 100% we can rest him. Let us win 4-1 or 4-2 I don't mind. Be positive guys! Let's go!

Good. We need him to play at least at 80% though. Time for Playoff P to be a thing again (I'm not optimistic)

I'm going to be pissed if Kanter ends up being the x-factor in this series after he became the defacto reason we couldn't/didn't beat the Rockets in the first round two years ago because he was unplayable against them.

I would've been wholly optimistic and confident about a playoff series against the Blazers pre-ASB, especially if someone told me they wouldn't have Nurkic.

But then February and March happened, and now I'd expect the Suns to take us to six games in a playoff series.

And the Blazers aren't missing from three. That's about the only way they truly stand a chance against us without Nurkic and they're doing it out of the gates in game one.

At least we're getting Adams involved early. He's predictably abusing Kanter's piss poor defense.

Unfortunately, we can't play defense to save our lives.

Ferguson always making dumb fouls. It's going to be an issue the whole series.

Just put Kanter in the pick and roll every time and we’ll be fine.

Good start offensively. Go at Kanter every possession. Gotta be better defensively though. Although most of Portland's makes have been tough.

PG13 looks very slow. Offensive scheme is perfect by going at Kanter. We need defense though (giving an open 3 to CJ and too much room for Lillard).

Alright, never mind. We're done.

This is a team we went 4-0 against this year, and one of their three best players, one that gave us all kinds of fits, isn't even playing and we're still getting run out of the gym.

So much for us being the 1st round "upset special". Time to shift your focus to DEN/SAS for that.
