Was it common knowledge he didn't get along with Westbrook in OKC? The recent tweets are first I heard of this.

Tonight was the first night I'd heard of anything like that as well. They had the trial year together so I think them not getting along was BS. Otherwise why re-sign with OKC?

I think PG13 decided to dip because he saw the writing on the wall in OKC. That writing being: An average head coach. A PG who takes a lot of bad shots and makes too many bad decisions. A roster devoid of any real playmakers/shooters outside of the top 2 guys.

I think George looked at those factors and assessed that OKC would be stuck in that 6-8 seed, 1st round exit mode for the next few years so he decided not to hang around for that.

You guys will LOVE SGA! I can't believe you're getting five draft picks and Shai. This will be my 31st year rooting for the Clippers so I'm used to watching players leave my team. Good luck this year, and have fun watching Shai grow into an All Star!

At least he resigned last year so you could get assets for him

Great haul for Okc. You all should contact the knicks with Westbrook. Have a butload if picks and be back in a few years.

Toronto's asset was a championship. I think it was worth it.

Now it's the Clippers turn.

Really, really don't want to trade Westbrook. But the writing is on the wall. Adding SGA and seeing the direction we're going I'll be surprised if we keep him. Presti could have another trick up his sleeve, maybe SGA for Beal? I don't know.

And I thought about wearing my Paul George jersey today.

I always said it as a joke, but there was a period last season where PG13 legitimately looked like the best SF in Thunder history (again, provocative joke).

Peace Paul.

I'm confused. When did PG ask for a trade ? Were him and Westbrook getting along fine ?

For anyone wondering about the relationship with Russ

Read on Twitter
“If you're getting stops and you're making threes and the other team's not scoring, that's when you're going to see a huge point difference there,” coach Billy Donovan said.

Thanks for the memories. I'll never forget his clutch 6 point game against Joe Ingles and his lockdown defense on Dame.

Eh. Players deny their dirty laundry to the public all the time.

Great move for you guys btw. Likely Russell and Adams are next.

Whatever. This is so disappointing. The only thing that’s appreciated is the 5 first round picks.

I really wish this team could have went to the playoffs with a healthy Roberson & George. The defense would have been great, guess we will never know.
