The absolute weirdest thing about this season for me has been seeing opposing bigs jog back in transition, leaving no rim protection, and not having that be a guaranteed shot at the rim within the first ten seconds of the shot clock. It was easy to take the pressure Russ put on teams in transition for granted.
“If you're getting stops and you're making threes and the other team's not scoring, that's when you're going to see a huge point difference there,” coach Billy Donovan said.

I’m glad we’re in a new era but I can see some things he did that I probably didn’t give him enough credit for. Especially when the ref sucks and he busts him in the face with the basketball like he did in Charlotte. Kidding. Kind of.

thunder are +.032 on eFG differential which is pretty good. but they're not good at a factor level anywhere else really. and that opponent eFG has been climbing.

The season is starting to wear on me a bit. I need SGA to average like 28 -30 points for a 5 game span.

The rebounding issues are noticeable, especially on the offensive end where we have wen't from 1st to 27th.

I'm just ready for the trade deadline. I think the team is enjoyable enough to watch but I would rather not stress over a Gallo rolled ankle or tight hamstring from cp3.

orb% with adams in is 24%, which would be top 5. bench units are atrocious. muscala / bazley and noel / bazley front court lineups have been getting annihilated on the boards.

That's about half of it. Steven's numbers are down too. Maybe we were wrong all along and Steven was the one stealing rebounds from russ.

The Thunder have never been below 30 % with Adams on the floor since they drafted him.

This is the stuff about Bazley that I really like.

NetRtG per quarter:

Q1: +9.9 (4th best)
Q2: +15.7 (2nd best)
Q3: -15.8 (27th best)
Q4: -2.3 (20th best)

So Donovan still getting them fired up at halftime?

Sounds like they're kicking people in the teeth while they're not prepared but it's solvable and there's not much in the way of counters yet. Still early in season.
