I expect shai to try hard to have a good game. Hopefully it doesn’t lead to forcing the issue.

Encouraging first half from shai and Bazley. Ferguson continues to struggle. Never really noticed before tonight but Dennis has the whitest teeth in the nba.

Where was this Schroder last year when we were still trying to be good and trying to keep something resembling a core together?

Is this win going to be the turning point in the season? We're now above .500 with a 15-14 record.
We've lost a lot of close games against good teams this year. Tonight, we get the monkey off our back and beat a good team; and we didn't have Gallinari. We were down 98-90 with about 6 minutes to go in the 4th quarter, and we outscore the Clippers 28-14 the rest of the way...we scored 28 points in the final 6 minutes of the 4th. Impressive.
Adams was a beast tonight. Really, this season's level of success probably ultimately hinges on whether he'll hit his usual January wall or not. That, and if Schroder can consistently keep up this level of play the rest of the season. Those two things are the difference in us finishing with 40-42 wins and 45-47 wins.
I know Kawhi didn't play, but still. This felt like a huge win. Kawhi is obviously a much better player than Gallinari, but I feel like us not having Gallo is about on par to the Clippers not having Kawhi when it comes to how much slack each respective team has to pick up in each player's absence.

This was probably the funnest game that I can remember from the last several seasons. I wasn’t even thinking about winning but just enjoying shai and Bazley playing well. Then I started thinking that Adams is really boosting his trade value with performances like tonight’s game. After a rough start, Schroder starts going off. Then before you know it, we won the freaking game. Sure they were missing Kawhi, but we were missing gallo. I think that’s a bigger loss for us than them. Not because gallo is better than Kawhi but because we have less options to replace the scoring.
I kind of feel bad for the clippers. I think they’ll be fine but I don’t miss the stress of living and dying with every game. By the way, George's handles still suck.

Oh. Is this one of those games where they win against a better team and the fanbase starts to talk itself into Billy Donovan again? A treasured Thunder tradition.

I assumed he would, because coaching bad teams with no expectations is a much simpler task than coaching good ones. It's a lot easier when winning half your games is considered outperforming expectations.

Nah, I've been on this wave for a minute. You know I've never thought he was that bad a coach. And the team as currently constructed probably plays to his strengths more than most.

You should heed my wisdom.

I have yet to discover a single strength of his besides coming up with 5000 word sentences and putting "I think" in front of everything.
