Sometimes cp3’s handles are surprisingly loose and his passes careless. Steven Adams seems to make no effort to defend an opposing big that can shoot the three. It’s been that way for far too long. It’s strange that for years he would be left on an island to guard the opposing teams pg on the perimeter but he seems hesitant to close out against his own man. Need to run more screens to get Gallo three point looks instead of him always doing a step back three.

So.. is it safe to call TFerg a bust yet?

All he can do is defend and spot up essentially

Even that’s debatable.

Spurs system for development is much different than ours. While I respect their culture and development, Lonnie Walker clearly deserves more minutes. I knew when the spurs drafted him that he would be good. When Gallo gets traded barley will likely be in the starting lineup and play 30 mpg.

Anyways, good performance. Nice to finally win in SA and not get totally destroyed by LMA. SGA, Dennis an cp3 were all good. Ferguson still sucks. I dont know if Diallo would be much better but it’s time for something else.

Good win.
Wow, sort of sad watching the Spurs at this point. They got an older All Star (or all quasar) level player at the 5 and then a bunch of so so guys on the wing. Need to reverse that to compete in the modern NBA.

Doesn't make much sense as to why Forbes is getting so many minutes period. Walker is clearly the more talented player with a much higher ceiling. I was browsing Spurs Talk, and Spurs fans seem to be as irate with the Forbes situation as we are with the Ferguson situation. But, unlike us, the Spurs have a much better, more viable option on their bench to replace Forbes than we do to replace Ferguson.

That playoff bandwagon still has room on it. :)
