Tough game without Adams. We will need some good defense this time.

We are defending the 3's so badly...

This game is over if we don’t figure out how to attack this defense.

Muscala taking so many 3's isn't going to work

It used to be entertaining to watch Thunder games. Lately, not so much

Since the Houston game we’ve looked like the mediocre team that we did early in the season.

Yup. Game against the Wolves was a lot of fun because of SGA/Gallo playing really well. Other than that...
We really miss Adams tonight though

Did billy finally bench Ferguson? I thought I heard fisher say something about schroder starting the second half but missed it.

oh well we knew after some minutes that we couldn't win this game.

Gallo would be a great fit in Miami.

We gotta get our starting center back. We finally get Noel and now Adams out and next you know you're relying on Mike Muscala for extended stretches. That said, Ferg may be a bigger issue.

Ferg was "sick" and wouldn't return.

Still hope we can trade Gallo (and maybe Schroeder?) and have a shot at getting the 10th-11th seed. Not going to be easy but Spurs/Portland/Suns (and even NOLA) are playing better lately.
Well it all depends on what kind of package we could get. Don't want to tank just to get a slightly better draft position.

Spurs lost to Atlanta tonight. OKC loses and is still 5 games up on the 9 seed. Even if they trade Gallo it will be hard to drop 5 games in the standings in the second half. It would take the Spurs adding someone at the deadline and Memphis continuing to play better along with OKC selling for it to look like they would drop out of the playoffs.

I'm not saying the Houston trade was bad, but if Russ had been traded to miami and we would have managed to snag Adebayo, it would have been nice. He wasn't viewed as untouchable as Herro.
Presti seems to favor the raw, undeveloped athlete as opposed to the one that's more seasoned. It's seemed like his philosophy works well enough when the pick is early in the lottery but the same strategy fails when its in the late first round, second round or undrafted players.

First time I've watched you guys in a while, is it just me or is Michael Cage even more insufferable this season? Or maybe I am less used to his inane ramblings now that I watch the Thunder less often...

Anyway
Now that he has Chris Fisher next to him it becomes more obvious. Brian Davis tended to take some of the focus off Cage with his ridiculous homer-ism statements. I find Fisher to be pretty honest about what's going on.

Toronto and Miami are good teams. OKC is not good enough to beat them missing their starting center.
OKC is really only around 5-7 players deep. They need them all to play and play well.

My eyes glaze over when reading alternative stat (not advanced stat) narratives that go many paragraphs long. If you can not make your point in 2 paragraphs it may not be a great point.

Agree. Think we have 6 good players (CP3/Gallo/SGA/Adams/Schroeder/Noel). Ferguson is trash even if he's a starter.
