Will KAT beat his career high of 56 points? Probably not. But on pace to possibly do so.

CP3 is on fire. He had some nice stretches in Houston but don't think he was better than he's right now (probably about the same)

No Gallo, SGA playing trash but we still manage to win easily against the Wolves (well, they are terrible).

Great to see Bazley/Dort/Diallo doing some nice things.

CP3 is a bad man right now. No way I would give up some assets (even a 2nd round pick) to get rid of him;

People who thought OKC should attach assets to get rid of him were never right. You can argue he is overpaid, but so are most players that have hit FA. CP3 is still a VERY good player and you win games with talent not worrying about your payroll. So if you are trying to a championship CP3 is a player you want.

Yup. Don't get why a good team isn't trying to trade for him. Sure, his contract is really terrible, he's injury prone (won't even mention that he's old because he's aging well) but that's the risk you need to take if you are a good team but not good enough to win it all and may be able to do it with CP3 (thinking about Miami, Sixers and Utah)

Its nuts that Dort went undrafted. I'm not saying he's a first ballot hall of famer or anything, but UNDRAFTED? Not good enough for pick 60? That's asinine. This dude should have been picked in the 20-mid 30s range.

I was pretty high on Dort last summer. My stream has freezing so I gave up and didn't that much of this game. Maybe I'll look at highlights tomorrow.

Dort going undrafted wasn’t completely an oversight. We had an agent steer him to us. From an article this summer on the athletic-

Dort’s fall was among the night’s bigger surprises. On ESPN’s telecast, he was listed as Jay Bilas’ top available guard for most of the second round. Late in the event, the ESPN analyst said simply: “I figured he would’ve been taken way before this.” He wasn’t alone. CBS Sports’ final mock draft had Dort at No. 30, the final pick of the first round. Sports Illustrated had him 32, while The Athletic had him 36.

Dort’s agent, Chris Emens of Octagon, said entering Thursday two teams with late first-round picks and six with picks in the 30s had strong interest in Dort. In addition, he said they turned down four teams wanting to draft Dort in the mid-to-late second round because they either wanted to draft and stash him overseas or draft him and send him directly to the developmental G League.

As painful as it was, they decided that going undrafted and signing a full two-way contract — which means Dort will split time in the NBA (up to 45 days per season) and G League — was the best option, especially considering Oklahoma City’s reputation for player development.

I'd definitely take him over Ferguson.

Dort's only been in the rotation for roughly a month and he's already shown more growth and progression than we've seen from Ferguson in 3 years.

Hell, I even like Diallo & Bazley over Ferguson. I think they're both arguably better all around players. What I like most about all three of them is they don't play hot potato with the ball like Ferguson does. Those guys will actually put the ball on the floor and attack the rim rather than lazily hang behind the 3-point line like Ferguson.

I used to think it was Donovan's game plan that relegated Ferguson to simply hanging out on the perimeter....but watching these other guys play it's become pretty clear that being a do-nothing SF who only hangs out behind the 3-point line is a personal choice made by Ferguson.

Cho Cho.....That is the playoff bandwagon. Get on board! :)
My eyes glaze over when reading alternative stat (not advanced stat) narratives that go many paragraphs long. If you can not make your point in 2 paragraphs it may not be a great point. :D

It's really not though.

He is not as explosive of an athlete, but he's still very athletic.
He is not built out of linguine.
He is every bit the perimeter defender, but much stronger.
He is not a pussy on offense, and is only a rookie at this point. When he gets the ball with a little space, he pulls the three and is not afraid to put the ball on the floor and attack the rim / set-up other teammates.

The only thing Ferguson has on him after three years in the NBA is his extra bounce, and his height that allows him to be a "SF" as well as SG

That's awesome. I hadn't seen that.
