no chris paul tonight, anyone know why?
edit:
On the latest injury report, the Thunder has listed Chris Paul (personal reasons) as out for tonight’s game.

Most likely grieving about Kobe's passing.

Yup. Fair enough for CP3. I was pissed Westbrook had to play yesterday a couple of minutes after hearing the terrible news (he had a great relationship with Kobe as well if I'm not mistaken)

Literally everybody had a great relationship with Kobe. It's insane how far his reach extends. Outside of Vince probably every guy in the league at this point grew up watching him, and it seemed like he worked out with everyone who ever asked.

That half was all over the place...
Bad fastbreak O
Team is flustered
Mavs D is pretty stout
Quite a few borderline calls so far going against OKC imo
Lets see if Gallo and SGA can get it going a bit in the third quarter, but not sure if have the horses to win this one.

Gallo constantly looks like he’s about to fall on his face when he drives to the basket.
In honor of Kobe, I think shai is going to shoot 8-24.

If Presti is willing to tank for the next 2 years, we definitely need to keep Burton

In the grand scheme of things, shai’s performance tonight doesn’t mean much but I really wanted to see him step up and run the offense. Instead he missed shot after shot at the rim and made poor decisions. I guess there is something to be said about keeping cp3 around for mentoring. This was probably shai’s worst game of the year and it follows what might have been his worst game of the year against the wolves. Oh and this team has some rebounding issues. On to the next one.

Shai is learning a lot from CP3 and it's really important to keep him around. But sooner rather than later, SGA will have to lead our team.
If CP3 stays, I guess it would be a good thing to rest him some games in order to give SGA the opportunity to run the offense.

That should just about cement CP3's all star bid. This team looked aimless out there without him.

Gives you an idea of what life might have been like if they'd somehow gotten off of Russ without taking back a big name piece like Paul. SGA's a nice prospect but trying to lead a team by himself I think it would have been a very long season indeed.

I wonder how Kobe's passing effected Gallo. They had some history going back to when they were kids in Italy. Their dads played in the same league. When Gallo was first drafted some felt he chose #8 because of Kobe (it wasn't). Starting in his second year Gallo used to ask to guard Kobe. They would sometimes joke back and forth.

If fans that never knew Kobe but only watched him can be sad, I’m sure every nba player is feeling it.
