Billy all but abandoned the three pg lineup in this first half up.
Ferguson is completely useless.

Despite winning the last three against Phoenix, Cleveland and Detroit, we’ve played really average. That won’t fly on Sunday against Boston.

you are absolutely correct, however as opposed to the last few years I will take the victory while playing poor rather than dropping a game vs a terrible team

I'm becoming concerned we might actually lose our pick

True. I wasn’t every concerned they would lose.

Isn't that what you would expect from Presti? Put protections on a pick then make sure you are good enough to hit the protections while likely losing in the first round.

When is the last time you felt that Adams really shut down his man? I realize he’s a better team defender than one on one. If he’s assigned to a big that can hit threes, that guy basically gets open looks the entire game.

In 14 minutes Ferguson was 0-3 with 1 point and 5 fouls. I don't really think there is much better option since Diallo, Nader and Burton haven't done much else.

What are the specifics of that pick?

Top 20 protected. If the pick is top 20 then Philly gets a pair of 2nd round picks instead.

If it was 21-25 I could see wanting to keep it but at 26-30 its value may not be greater than 2 second round picks depending on situation. Some teams do not want to add another guaranteed contract especially if they have many picks that low. The Spurs tried to trade away theirs often. Not that I think it will be 26-30. Just speaking in general.

People say this all the time but it's never true. You can buy early seconds.

Teams have also sold late firsts. Some teams like the Spurs prefered not to have the guaranteed contract added by a player they did not feel would be a significant upgrade over a 2nd round pick.

Team has looked a bit sluggish ever since Lu Dort stopped having out of body experiences.

This team really has 5 guys that produce almost every night so having a 6th or even a 7th is a huge addition.
