Don't think Houston is a playoff team. Looking like 2 lottery picks for us.

This isn't too far off from what the Pelicans got for Jrue which is crazy.

If the Rockets don't extend Oladipo, they're in a good position to tank in 22/23 when they have control of their picks, although not sure Tillman will want that once fans are allowed back in 100%.

A line up of Wall/ Dipo/ Gordon/ Tucker/ Wood is still pretty good. It's all about health.

Lots of injury history among their main guys.

This is still pretty close from what the Clippers gave up for PG13 and I think there's a bigger chance of failure in Brooklyn because of KD/Kyrie injuries and 3 crazy players...

Lu Dort broke the rockets
“If you're getting stops and you're making threes and the other team's not scoring, that's when you're going to see a huge point difference there,” coach Billy Donovan said.

Pretty good dice roll since they don't control their pick though. They all stay healthy and they'll win enough to be in the playoff chase at least.

I’m curious if Houston will even try to retain Vic. I’m interested to watch them play.

I hadn't watched the Pacers yet this year. Didn't realize how so so Vic's start had been. Hopefully he doesn't right the ship down there so their pick sucks for us (but not too much).

So confused why anyone thinks this isn’t a god awful trade for Houston.

Porzingis is back and I can confirm Poku is not his body double.

Durant's already had 2 major injuries, kyrie is an injury prone headcase, and harden constantly looks like he's 2 buffet trips away from eating himself out of the league. There are reasons to believe those Brooklyn picks could be more than they seem. The last is almost guaranteed to be good.

Also Durant is 32 and Harden is 31. It's not like they will be playing for 8 years in Brooklyn.

They have at best a 4 years window to make something great...and I wouldn't be surprise if they miss the playoff one year because of injuries.

Those Brooklyn picks and swaps are way better than the ones we own from the Clippers/Heat

Damn the Rockets are terrible. I want them to struggle but to finish with something like 8th or 9th worst record, which would only give them around 20% to get a top 4 pick and more likely a 8-10 pick.

If we get a 7-10 pick and they get a top 4....would be a nightmare.

Miami isn’t looking too hot right now either. Houston is missing wall. They’ll be better when he gets back. SRS has the 11th in west but obviously that included fat harden. I would rather have houston be bad and take the risk of losing the pick than get the 18th pick. Don’t let it stress you out in January. There is too much beyond our control.

Yup Miami is struggling but Jimmy Butler soon coming back so they should be fine. Guess they should end 5th or 6th in the East (not good for us that Indiana traded Oladipo and Levert can't play)

Overall you are right though...can't control what other teams are doing and if we are going lucky or not. Just feel like somehow that Houston swap became one of best assets we have and it's would be really huge for us to get a bit of luck (strong draft, great timing starting our rebuild to have a shot to draft two top 10 picks etc.)

Miami looks like they are one Butler high ankle sprain from being in trouble. They really miss crowder. They’ll be better once they get healthy but their roster needs some help.

I’ll be a nervous wreck when the lottery is here but not yet. Going back and looking at past drafts, nothing is a sure thing. We could get a mid lotto pick and draft a guy like Keon Johnson outside the top 5 and him end up as one of the best players in the draft. Outside of guys like Luka, Durant and Lebron, a lot of these guys become great through proper development. This draft has some talent but most people say that the top five guys are all star caliber players but not necessarily at the level of the aforementioned guys. Green is the one who probably has the highest ceiling of he reaches it.

Read on Twitter

Thought Blazers could use a guy like Hill before CJ got hurt, even more so now. This does improve the odds GS ends up in the 21-30 range, getting more optimistic about that pick conveying.
