So, not only are we getting picks from the Adams trade, we are also getting a valuable floor spacer in Miller who appears to also be a solid passer when attacking closeouts. Nice veteran presence for our young wings who we can use as a trade chip down the road.

Unless we're dumping some of the youngsters we're not going to have room for Miller

darius miller tore his achilles in august 2019. he hasn't played since then. the pelicans would have cut him (his 2020-21 salary was non-guaranteed until tuesday) if not for this trade. we will have TPE large enough to absorb three darius miller sized contracts over the next year, if needed. 99.9% sure he will get bought out.
