make a big offer to Cleveland if Houston doesn't draft Jalen Green (unlikely).

If Presti is as good as people claim that he is, he should still be able to find a quality player at 6.

Personally, I'll believe it when I see it.

IMO, Presti's great at acquiring assets and making trades, but when it comes to identifying talent in the draft, he's average at best. Yeah, he hit home runs from 2007-2009 with KD, Russ, and Harden....but that was 12 years ago.

Since that 2009 draft I think it's fair to say OKC's drafts have been average at best because Presti hasn't shown he can consistently find talent outside the top 5 of a draft.

I have no idea what we can do.

Just don't want to draft Scottie Barnes.

That was about as bad of an outcome as humanly possible, the ONLY silver lining is that Houston got #2 instead of #1.

#6 is the last spot you want to be, and trading into a consensus top 5 is going to take a LOT.

Get ready for us to be horrible again next season, expecting a bottom 2 record alongside Orlando.

Lol this is what tanking actually looks at, all you get is a lottery ticket. Hopefully scottie Barnes is still there, he'll look good next to dort and shai as long as lu's shot stays on the uptick.
“If you're getting stops and you're making threes and the other team's not scoring, that's when you're going to see a huge point difference there,” coach Billy Donovan said.

No idea how to move up to 5 because of Magic already having picks 5 & 8 so we should target Toronto & Cleveland...not sure what we could offer them though :(

I feel pretty crestfallen right now but I just trying to remind myself that every year there are guys in the top four or five picks that all the draft analysis leads is to believe are surefire all stars and every year at least one often more than one of those guys ends up being mediocre or just sort of average. And every year there's somebody picked outside the top five that was supposed to be average that ends up being really good or even All Star caliber.

I don't understand why the Cavs get a top 5 pick EVERY damn year. This sucks man. We have a million picks to trade but the top 4 best prospect's just seem like such a sure thing I cant see any team trading their pick to us. **** sucks.

Well if we can't move up...gonna be difficult to surround SGA with enough good talent. TImeline is terrible for him. Not that I want to trade him because he's worth too much but...

Flattening the lottery odds really kills small markets. I’ve told myself for a long time that sports doesn’t bring happiness, just periods of hope between massive disappointments.

6 or 7 I should have said. Not much of a difference between those, either one is a terrible place to be given what our possibilities were.

It's just incredibly frustrating that if we LOSE the coinflip to Cleveland we end up at #3. Such bad luck this year.

I don't think that necessarily follows that the coin flip had anything to do with Cleveland jumping us.

Ah you're right I think, thought we swapped lottery ball #s if we lost the coinflip. I'm just frustrated and rambling.
