Conference Predictions

I was waiting for the Westbrook trade to drop so I’ll go ahead with the least confident prediction standings ever. Between Harden rumors and almost 10% of the league testing positive yesterday, who knows what will happen? Put your predictions here.

East
Spoiler:
1-Milwaukee
2-Brooklyn
3-Philly
4-Miami
5-Boston
6-Washington
7-Toronto
8-Indiana
9-Atlanta
10-Chicago
11-Charlotte
12-Orlando
13-Detroit
14-New York
15-Cleveland

West
Spoiler:
1-LAL
2-Denver
3-LAC
4-Dallas
5-Utah
6-Portland
7-Phoenix
8-Houston
9-Golden state
10-New Orleans
11-Memphis
12-Minnesota
13-San Antonio
14-Sacramento
15-Oklahoma City

Thoughts-
- I feel better about the east predictions than the west.

-I’m not as high on Atlanta as many.

- I think the lakers are the best team but I could see the clippers with the best record. It feels like Lebron might rest more and the clippers will work harder at developing chemistry.

-Wouldn’t surprise me to see Denver with the best record. They won’t miss grant that much.

- I think Dallas makes a huge jump if KP will stay healthy after he’s back.

-For some reason people only remember they first 4 games the warriors played last year. They played hard after Kerr did some coaching.

- It’s really tough to decide which team misses the playoffs in the west. I chose Houston because of the uncertainty with their roster. They could end up the five seed.

-Utah has had long stretches of good and bad basketball in the regular season the last two years. They did little to upgrade their roster and Conley is older.

*edited post wall/russ trade.

I’m real wait and see on Brooklyn. Obviously talented, but who knows how KD does with the achilles and him and Kyrie are two moody ass dudes.

Philly always has the possibilities of injuries with Ben and embiid. And I still don’t think they fit.

Wouldn’t be surprised if Toronto missed the playoffs.

I have Atlanta at 7.

I think Dallas is gonna have a rough stretch without Kristaps and I don’t think they improved the team. I think they may miss the top 8. KP out until at least January (sounds overly optimistic), and with the condensed season, it’s a big deal. Probably will get hurt again anyways.

No idea what golden state will look like. Hoping Curry goes nuclear.

I like Dallas moves. Richardson was one of the elite role players in the league until philly tried to make him carry the offense. I keep hearing KP is out until January. That’s like a week after the season starts. His long term durability is a concern but he should be back pretty soon.
