Hello guys, I have a fantasy basketball question regarding to Hami Diallo. He was look like on a breakout campaign a week ago but his minutes declined for the last couple games. Is he skip rotations on D or something? Do you advise me to hold on to him in a deep league?

Not at all, his defense is the best aspect of his game. He just got a bit hot with his scoring, but I don't think that's sustainable in the long run.

Well that's ugly. At least SGA had a solid 2nd quarter after a terrible first.
Glad they gave Maledon some minutes with our starters. They should do this more often.

Yeah man, Dort's been unreal. Hopes he takes a good look at Paul George and Kawhi Leonard, because he definitely looks like one of those hard-working **** that can go from middling prospects to elite superstars. Sometimes all it takes to make the leap comes from inside. The focus, the fire, the ability to learn.
He often looks like the Thunder's best player IMO.

lol no. I love Dort but he won't be a star...come on
He lacks athleticism/lenght and skill as well.
If he can be a good starter that's still pretty good

Okay so that's what you think...
All I see is an elite on-ball defender that developed a 40+ 3pt% from scratch by his second season...
Lenght is a thing, but, his defensive role should be mostly defending primary ball handlers, and his respectable 6'9" wingspan is enough to defend those types.
But he's more athletic than you think. He has power, a certain kind of functional strength that is exactly the reason why he jumps off the screen on defensive possessions. His physical profile is perfect to get low and bother bigger people. You can't be hustling hard 30 MPG without amazing stamina too.
Yeah, he's not a vertical jumper, but does that even matter anymore in today's NBA?
This guy oozes impact.

It’s as if the law or averages for all of our non shooters that never developed has finally balanced out in the form of one player, Lu Dort. This probably means Sam will draft Scottie Barnes number one if given the opportunity.

Feels like we're fortunate insofar as, despite tanking, losing a lot of games by double figures, I still find myself feeling more often than not the team plays a sort of entertaining basketball. Love SGA. Love Dort. Even enjoy the odd Poku and Theo plays. And Baze I still love and am holding out hope for.

He definitely let Kawhi feel his presence in the game. I saw some hesitations from Kawhi, ask for screens when Dort on him. That's not something we saw very often.

We are in year one for the rebuild. It doesn't feel like a reach to say we have one all star level young guy and one elite role player at 22 and 21 years of age. That's pretty good.
I'm hopeful that Bazley will snap out of his struggles towards the end of this year like he did at the end of last year. It seems like the coaching staff has turned him loose and he's just overwhelmed at his additional responsibility. I see some good things but the execution just isn't there yet.
Poku and Theo are both pretty bad right now but hopefully this experience pays down the road.

I hope we get lucky and manage to swing an all-star caliber guy in this draft. I feel like with SGA and Dort if you threw in a top 5 sort of talent (regardless of where actually picked) we might be able to retool pretty quickly here.

Same here. If we do, I think that puts us in the group of teams fighting for the bottom of the playoffs fairly soon with a ton of picks left for adding more rookies, trading for good role players or even a young star that becomes available. Heck, maybe even all three of those options. As Winhorst talked about this week, the future markets for stars is going to be a bit depressed moving forward since so many teams has spent their assets.

I’m getting Terrance Ferguson vibes from Bazley. I understand and expect some struggling this year but those two turnovers to start the game and pretty bad, especially the lazy pass to hill that Beverly stole under the clipper basket. Once Horford is back, I would like to see Roby get the the start at the four.
Also if you had told me that we would shoot the fourth most attempts per game from three, Lu Dort would improve to almost 40%, I wouldn’t have expected we would be 29thin the league in 3 point percentage. We drafted two euros, added George hill and Horford and still can’t shoot.

Pretty much. Lots of really good looks that go half way down, roll around the rim and then don’t go in.
