Wonder if we are gonna pay Svi. He's not great but we could use some shooter. Better pay him than Diallo.

I’m ready to see him have some good shooting games.

If we lose 20+ games, I'm fine watching SGA smiling on the bench.

Boy wish we had a guy like Kenrich some years ago instead of Dion/Burton/Augustin :(

This whole team is that way.

If things keep going this way I’m going to blame Troy Weaver for all of the role player failures of the KD/Russ era.

I’m already there.

WTF is wrong with Toronto? :(

Only team I wasn't worried about after they kept Lowry

Powell is better than an Gary Harris Jr. and they already sucked before trading Powell. Kinda makes sense. Siakam just recently had beef with Nick Nurse, so I think they have locker room issues as well.

The moment we drafted Poku, this was my dream. I can die in peace now.

Not a poku believer but it's nice to see him playing like a rookie and not...whatever it was before he went to the G League.

He’s starting to go all the way to the basket on drives instead of settling for funky in between shots.

We're finally seeing a true tanking lineup consistently out there and its invigorating. I know this is more or less this is most directly attributable to Shai sitting out but its also the simple stuff like shelving Horford and Muscala and you just have to ask yourself why we weren't doing this sooner.

I have to imagine it has a lot to do with not wanting to instill the culture of not trying to win.

I have a hard time believing next year will be a tank year either. I think they’re going to end up late lottery. These dudes are gritty, shai’s a stud, and coach diagonal seems pretty damn competent. I think they’re highly likely to be contending for a play-in spot. I think they could this year if they wanted, and hopefully everyone comes back better.

But yeah, I agree. If they don’t come out of these next two years having developed some of these overachievers into actually having value, it’s going to be bad news unless they get lucky with a couple late picks.

I wonder if we see the growth from players on this team if they outright implemented the tank sooner. I guess my point comes down to this: Does SGA become this good if he doesn’t play as much as he has this season?

The good news is they have a lot of late picks. While I wouldn’t bet on it, surely it’s not crazy to think that OKC can really hit on a back end of the 1st round pick at some point, considering they will likely have a bunch of chances.

I also think Presti will learn from the mistakes that Boston made managing their own war chest.
