Ibaka isn't coming home :(

Dragic mentioned as a possibility for the Clippers...still unclear if PG13/Kawhi returns

Harden trade is good for the 2025 Philly pick IMO

Nice Bobby Marks.

Just to confirm my understanding: we will pay the players in cash, but it will not affect our cap space. Is that right?

Yeah won't impact us at all. We can still sign a player though and get less than 23 millions left that would be distributed between the players (that's a lot of money for some of our guys).

well obviously wanted to see us making a good trade but we knew it was unlikely. Boring season...gotta hope we can get luck at the lottery and drat well. In the meantime, I hope SGA comes back healthy and we can see some good things from our young players.

Right on. But, if we sign somebody - that would count against our cap space, right? If we just pay the current players extra cash, then we still go into the offseason with the same amount of cap space that we have right now?

I think we will only reach the floor regardless but I'm not sure. Like if we sign a guy for 5 millions now, the 18 millions remaining will be distributed

Our roster basically rooting for no player to sign

We should have the floor in the offseason

Don't mind building through the draft and not rushing the rebuild but really hope we will get a decent volume of new guys next season (I hope one top 3 pick and two other guys in the first round). Just don't want Presti to make another #16 for two terrible and distant future FRPS move again.

I am glad that we have done nothing. Glad to keep Muscala and Williams. Let's finish the season with these great guys.

If we don’t get a star in the draft this year, we either trade shai and extend the bottoming out process or become a treadmill team.

Harden will be 35. And who knows if joel is healthy then. And they’d be making a bazillion dollars between the 2.

The Thunder are bringing $30M in cap space to the draft, that dries up one SGA's extension hits at the start of the league new year.

I don't think this space can help teams get out of the lux tax for this season. But, they will be able to take in up to $30M with out taking a cent back.

They can resign Dort to the contract Collison got in 2011. I would expect them convert Wiggins from the 2-way deal at some point.

Poku gonna be a star next season.

Seriously speaking, trading Shai before the 2023 draft is the most likely scenario unfortunately (except if he plays at an elite level next season so we can think about moving picks to build around him).

No need to trade Shai. They could be this years Cav’s if the lottery balls fall the right way.
