We have to split with POR at worst while definitely losing to DET to have a good shot at top 3. Tough but looks doable. LAC/LAL may not care by that point of the season unfortunately and may be sitting starters. 4th isn't the end of the world with the odds being flattened though.

4th is like last year, no lotto and you be picking a giddey at 6

we need a mobley or a cade, not giddeys

if clips lose play in at least we had one more chance, 4,8% + 48.1% of the #4

Well you can't be a playoff team and be in the lottery. Eastern teams have a better record so that's why.

We got unlucky LAC overperformed without their stars and the west is very weak this season.

Gonna need Clippers to lose against Wolves and LAL/Pels for the pick to be in the lottery. Wolves are playing very well right now but PG13 should come back before the end of the RS.[/quote
ok I get that but hawks and magic are in the playin just like lac I can get my head around that.

You act like anyone wants to finish 4th vs. 1-3rd lol. You can still end up 6th if you're in the 2/3 spots btw. We are trying to tank as best we can, but so is everyone else. OKC is sending out worse lineups than ORL/DET/HOU the last few weeks.

Well it's done.

No SGA, no Giddey, Bazley with a fracture, Dort got surgery....damn tough end of the season.

A bit worried about SGA's health for the future of his career even if they are obviously being cautious.

I don’t think the injuries are fake but if we were a playoff team, I don’t think shai or Giddey would be getting shut down.

Gonna end up with the 4th worst record and that's fine with the lottery odds. Almost a coin flip (48.1%), we deserve to win one after last season.

I'm sorry but u should look calmly at the new lottery odds. I would obviously prefer to have a bottom 3 record but the gap between bottom 3 and bottom 4 isn't that big. Math based we had almost 80% of a top 5 pick last season, we just got unlucky.

Houston is going to have only 52% at a 4 top pick once again, it's just over 4% more than us. Tanking always help but u need luck with those new lottery odds.

New lottery odds prevent a team from tanking to get Cade/Victor Wembanyama or the next Lebron. Gotta need to hit on your 14% odds at best.

if a team from 5-14 win the lottery, or if 2 or 3 teams do it

u pick at 5-6-7

the #1 worst position gonna be top 5 and the top4 is like 90% secure

with the pick 4 pre lotto, u are out of top 4 52%

im going to simulate 11 times on tankathon:

1-6-1-6-2-6-6-3-6-2-4

6 5 times
4 1

and orlando right now #1:

2-2-4-3-3-5-5-2-5-2-4

5 3 times
4 2

the worst record has 48%+ of getting the 5th pick, so u wrong saying top 4 is 90% secured.

Think u should look at odds more than some simulator.

Road to pick #5, only Lotto can save this terrible season, or ruin it even more with a pick 7-8.

By looking at indys and our strength of remaining schedules it appears we will slip to at least 5. That's just great.
