Glad OKC inked Jaylin. Obviously you want him to succeed as a prospect and become a viable rotation player, but I think even if he doesn't, he makes a great locker room and practice player, which at that money, is still worth it.

Yesterday he played better, he is a great passer, rebounder, but offensively is very limited.

Jalen Williams potential value as a bucket getter could be immensely valuable to this team. Right now shai is the only player on the team that I trust to create his own offense.

That’s why I think he’ll be the ideal 6th man to begin with. He can split his minutes running the bench and creating his own shot and with the starters playing more off ball.

I think we will bring him along similar to Harden.

I can't imagine to see Green in an OKC Dress. Jeremies or Maledon will be cut (Jeremies is my favorite).
What will happen with Favors ? The Problem for Green and Favors is her salary. If we get second round picks the salary drops too deep.

Question to any/everyone: though okc is unlikely to try to make the playoffs/play-in, how confident are you that they could, if winning as many regular season games as possible was the ultimate goal?

Play in seems reasonable. Phx, Memphis, GS, Dallas, LAC, LAL, Den, Minn, NO, Portland, Sac will all be in the mix. OKC would need to be healthy with other teams suffering injuries but I think it's possible.

I would be happy to get around the 10th seed for this season. I feel it's more important to start seeing momentum building towards winning. Another season of pure tanking would likely see the rumour mill go into overdrive with SGA wanting out.

I think 12 is the most likely scenario...ahead of Jazz/Spurs/Rockets. Probably 7th or 8th worst record in the NBA.

The only issue with Favors & Green is if we cut them we then have about $50 million in Dead money and have no way to acquire a guy on big money salary since we won’t have any matching salary to go out the door.

22 millions/year to keep both Dort and Kenrich, sounds good to me.
