Post#1 » by london sonic » Sun Aug 17, 2008 12:15 am

What are the feelings of the OKC fanbase on a sign and trade for Ben Gordon. He has already stated that he feels his time is done in chicago wants all star money and exclusive minutes at SG.I have mixed feelings on him good addition but at what cost.Im just interested how you guys felt if Presti dealt some of our expirings for him.

No thanks.

He's overrated, he's streaky, he's a midget SG, below average defender, soon to be very overpaid.

There will be someone better available down the road, it's too early to start spending our future cap space. I'd rather go after Danny Granger next summer.

As much as I like BG, he's just a shorter Jamal Crawford minus the handles. Plus hes used to getting the ball and everyone in the league knows who number uno is in OKC.

I have to agree with everything being said. I'm not a big fan of the short 2-guards. He is definitely a good scorer but just doesnt really appeal to me.

Terrible idea. He will only keep the ball out of KD's hands, and will not give the Sonics any wins.
from ny, never been a fan of the knicks...

Not worth it. We'd have to sacrifice too much to get him and it's pointless because we're building. Short-term solution or not it won't pay-off in the long run.
